Hellenic Learning - Greek Tutoring & Education

Claire is a vibrant, young, energetic Greek teacher. My children are 13 years, old, and 14 years, old, respectively. They used to attend a Greek school, however, after Covid, we ceased that. We are a second-generation Greek family, and do not speak Greek at home, although my husband and I are fluent. I should say, as fluent as an Australian born child could be. Since learning with Claire, our kids’ Greek has improved. It works, as Claire teaches what we think our children need. For us, grammar is essential to learn so that the children can progress with their Greek speaking. Claire focuses on this and we have seen a vast improvement in both of them. Thank you Claire and we hope we can continue this way of learning as it is also very convenient. Three hours of Greek school does not compare to the one hour of learning with you .

Hellenic Learning has been an excellent choice for my daughters Greek education. Claire's commitment to providing quality education in the Greek language is commendable. This is such a fun and interactive playgroup that exposes kids to the greek language and culture from an early age. My little girl (started at 18 mths) has loved every class and gravitates towards Claire, the educator, who does a superb job of organising and leading the group. I highly recommend it.

I joined this course with little prior knowledge of the Greek language and now just after one term I know so many phrases and words to help me have conversations with people. I would highly recommend, not only is it helpful but the online model makes it so convenient.

I have recently completed Begin Greek classes 1-4, i can say with confidence that these classes have given me the tools and resources to greatly expand my vocabulary greatly. I have never been able to speak to or understand my relatives, these classes have helped me come from understanding one or two words in a sentence to a understanding the majority of a conversation, all this has been done whilst working and caring for kids, applying myself 1-2 hours a week.Claire is a kind, patient, understanding teacher whos expertise in the greek language is admirable.
