Bay Island Early Learning & Care

Wow! The centre is so spacious and welcoming. The staff are friendly, professional and the children obviously adore them. I love their bright upbeat uniforms, so fitting for the island lifestyle. A1 service in a place I didn’t think one would even exist.

Originally had posted a positive review of this place before management showed their true colours. Decided to edit my review to meet my current views.The centre’s Group Leaders and Assistants work extremely hard & care for the children with all their hearts; it’s just sad to know they are manipulated, unsupported and treated like dirt by management whilst expected to work to the highest standard.Best wishes to all the Educators who are currently employed there. You guys are awesome & deserve the best.

Fantastic child care centre!!! They have made it easy to drop my 3 daughters off over the last 7 years, my girls absolutely love attending and have developed the most beautiful caring relationships with all their teachers.Communication from the teachers & centre managers is amazing.They really make you feel welcome, staff are alway striving to do their best.Such a warm friendly environment, I highly recommend

My son (3.5yr) has attended BIELC for nearly 2 years and I am blown away by the support, care and education he is receiving.BIELC are providing a great base for his education, they incorporate his interests into their daily activities which I love. He has created some amazing bonds with not only the educators in his room and other children, but also with the support staff and management staff.The educators at BIELC have been prompt to bring any concerns (behavioral, health, development) to my attention and have worked with me on these things. I have also had to raise a few concerns and they have dealt with those issues sensitively and promptly.I count myself lucky that I have such an amazing centre to support me and my family.

Highly recommend this centre. Such caring, beautiful staff and the environment is incredible, really natural, lots of local art featured. Our son has attend for the last 3 years and has thrived here. We feel like part of a family at BIELC.

Very unprofessional. They sent my child home with my neighbor without getting my permission, when I tried to talk to them about it they got defensive and argumentative. If I can't trust them to talk about something that could have been little, you can guarantee they lie about big things. Not surprising they are the only daycare with availabilities in a 10km radius.

My best friends child goes to this center and honestly, as an Educator myself I have recommended she remove her child The child to educator ratios are not correct, they don't supply support staff for children with spectrum disorders are required by department regulations. If a parent questions something they become aggressive and defensive, refusing to budge or come to a mutual agreement. I do not recommend this service.

This place is amazing, the community spirit and support provided to children and their families is old style Oz country - you just don't find this kind of quality community care anymore. It is a hidden treasure we never imaged we would find on an offshore Qld island and it brings together the families and children from not just 1 island, but from 4 unbridged islands. This centre's service and its efforts to support myself and my children has gone above and beyond anything I've experienced on the Gold Coast. Shhhh! South East Qld's best kept secret. Love you guys! Thankyou.
