Opening times are extremely restrictive.On google it says open from 12-3 pm, but on certain days it's just food hampers.12-3pm is bad enough let alone one making the effort a handful of times and it's only food hamper day. I've given up with this place. Cancer council North Katoomba is open everyday longer hours and even Sunday. Do you need more volunteers for operating the store..

Massive store filled with lots of items to dig through. Very reasonably priced (I spent my time in the books and household items, didn’t check clothes). Friendly kind staff. I left with two bags full of goodies.

We would like to thank all the staff involved in collecting some furniture (much of which was extremely heavy and bulky) which we had donated to The Salvation Army at Katoomba.The staff that we spoke to on the phone were very helpful and courteous. We have to sincerely recommend most highly the three gentlemen involved in collecting the furniture on two occasions. We only know the names of two - Allan and Bryan - but all three were so efficient and so pleasant . Thank you all Bruce & Judy

Nice store. Nice staff. Though the lighting needs to be better so you can see things properly and when they price paintings they need to stop putting price tags on the paintings themselves because it damages the paintings when taking the price tag off.

Large store with lots of variety and reasonable prices. Browsing uncovered some interesting items. I much prefer the Salvos Family Stores" like this one over the "Salvos Stores" which seem way more commercial and lack variety and the interesting items."

This shop supports some of the most vulnerable people in our community, through food, educational services and help where required and needed, from the sale of donated items. The staff are kind and compassionate to the broad range of people that make up our community here in Katoomba. They have been particularly supportive at this time of Covid 19, but then they are always kind.

The biggest op shop in Katoomba, with friendly staff although the items are of variable quality. There are some gems (not literally) in amongst a lot of stuff (sometimes junk), if you are happy to hunt, and all the regular goods you would expect in an op shop. The clothes can be quite well worn, sorted into categories but not ordered by size. But there can be some good clothes in there, so worth a look. It's an old school op shop, not one of those high-end options that charge like wounded bulls and are almost verging on boutique second hand".Much more bric-a-brac here than the other op shops

Possibly the most unfriendly people I've ever dealt with in a charity shop. Not worth the time or donations, better off going to Cancer Wellness in North Katoomba...
