Had a spinal fusion and was sent to Bellura for rehabilitation. I could not ask for better treatment the staff where amazing. The nurses the cleaners the pyhsios even the lunch lady where all fantastic. The food was great and hot and the rehab helped me learn so much for when l went home.

Just recovering from a hip replacement and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Pete Hamilton and his surgery team were fantastic, as have been all the nurses, with special mention to Lynda, Kym and Kate. The physiotherapy team were also great. Olya and Chelsea had me up and walking next day and discharged the following. They all made the experience almost enjoyable. I couldn’t speak more highly of the entire team.

Beleura Hospital staff were impeccable with the care that they gave my Mother howeverDr Mitra is not only unprofessional buthe is one who lacks Compassion &Empathy for his patients . He is alsorude and obnoxious. This man shouldnot be allowed to treat patients in thismanner. My Mother was in his careand he was treating her for LiverCancer. Whilst in hospital for anothermatter he told her in an extremelyrude tone she was never going toleave that bed or go home, she justhas to wait until she dies amongstother things. This is not some onewho should be allowed to treat hispatients in this manner. He may havea medical degree but clearly hemissed the module on havingCompassion, Empathy and respect forpatients. The last time he saw my Mother instead of investigating as to why my Mother was needing oxygen he just said to her can you breathe now then abruptly took off her oxygen . I quickly changed to a new oncologist and it was her who did further investigations only to discover she had fluid in the stomach and lungs . She was absolutely a gem ! Unfortunately my Mother passed away a week later I believe that he did not care for my Mother as he should of . He took a oath I shall not do harm and that’s exactly what he did ! KeepYour loved ones away from this man

I have just been treated for a critical illness at Beleura. I was extremely fortunate to get a bed at Beleura. The medical attention I received was first class, and I cannot express enough praise for the Medical Team, their professionalism and the way they build confidence in the treatment.The nursing and support care I received during my stay was outstanding. This included the level of care, empathy, responsiveness and teamwork.I even have to priase the food, the catering team do an outstanding job.I cannot recommend the hospital high enough, if there were more stars I would give them.

I do not recommend this place if you or a loved one is trying to tackle mental health or addiction issues. No one I know has gotten any better from treatment here.Whilst the nurse staff and other day staff are fairly knowledgeable and attentive there is no follow up care or on going advice. Definitely more a get you in the out kind of place. I felt more like a number then a person and found the whole experience very isolating and disheartening. I was told I could call for advice bit when I did was treated appalingly.I hope things improve but sadly, I don't see them making any changes anytime soon.

I cannot say enough good things about Beleura hospitalThe staff were lovely in the McCrae ward. On request I was transferred from PPH after robotic back surgery to start my rehab . All the physios had a permanent smile answered all questions and helped me 100 per centEven the meals at Beleura were edible and I can't rate this establishment high enough. I will be back.

I recently had a triple bypass and spent one week with the staff in the Portsea wing. I cannot speak more highly of their care, concern and dedication to keeping me as comfortable as possible. Thankyou all so very much. DIANNE
