Amazing swimming and water sports spot. Great for a picnic. But no toilets or other facilities close by.

I try and go once a week. Stop at Fernvale for their awesome pies, drive to the river, walk about a bit. Sunday busy. Miss on too. Can clearly see what the floods did!!!

Very clean at times there is a boat ramp mainly for paddle skis you can use a boat but beware of the sunken trees in spots great for fishing or swimming there is no camping allowed but there is a camp site up higher that is a 48 hour camping area.

Nice spot for swimming, kayaking and weekend picnics. No 4wd tracks as of Xmas 2020. Barricaded off. So more family friendly now. No amenities or bins, so please take your rubbish home.

Was a great day out with kids. The water was not even cold it was glorious. You ca kayak, fish, swim or just enjoy it's beauty. We will be going back for sure.

Love this place for fishing camping swimming boating caught two huge Lung fish last time I was there released the first and the second was massive and broke me off

There is a bigger space for putting gazebos now. They have cleared the area of the weeds. Lots of doggos enjoying.

Was good. It's a shame vehicle access is no longer allowed. Had it been would have rated it better. You can't close off an area due to the high level of rubbish left behind if you don't provide sufficient bins.

Good place for a picnic.Council definitely needs to support this location, put in some bins, maybe a couple picnic benches, BBQ even. Make the place look like you care about attractions and tourism. Good to kayak down to savages crossing, the council should create more picnic areas along the side the of river.
