I asked a question on both the Lake Mac and Newy Facebook pages about whether or not a particular vendor would be present this weekend. My comments have been deleted and I have also been blocked from both Facebook pages. For asking a simple, polite question. I had seen previous responses to people’s reviews from the owner, although these replies have all now been changed to a “:)” reply. How do you even run a business with this despicable attempt at customer service. You’re hurting small business with your arrogance and small mindedness. I may only be one person, but I won’t be attending ever again and I’ll make sure I show whoever will listen the screenshots of your real replies to customer reviews. Absolutely disgraceful.

This is a fantastic market and definitely worth a look .We really enjoyed the Sunday market as the people where friendly and down to earth .There is plenty of choices when it comes to food and produce .If you love items made from timber you will really enjoy this. market .Operating 7-1 on a Sunday.

The farmers market" has quite an extensive number of market stalls beyond only a 'farmers market' and you are likely to find fresh produce

I lived here for a year, but I didn't know the market. It's such a great experience. Fresh, vegetables, and fruits. Food that you can eat easily will come often. I forget to take pictures before I eat. I took it after I ate it.

Relaxed atmosphere and easy to move about even when it's packed with people. Not the best when it's raining, particularly as the carpark turns to mud, but most of the paths are bitumen and there are some undercover sections. As others have commented here on Google Maps, the vendors ARE NOT all local farmers or co-operatives so take your time browsing and give the resellers a wide berth (you might as well go to Coles or Woollies if that's your thing). The 'no dog' policy is disappointing (though apparently OK if vendors want to have their dogs on site).I found the roaming town crier/spruiker thing really cringeworthy and it's a feature" that should be sent back to the 1980s.All-in-all

Great place to buy your fresh produce, fruits, flowers, meat and enjoy the morning. There are many food trucks offering a variety of coffee and delicious breakfast. Plenty of parking available with a 2 dollars entry fee.

Whenever I’m in town, I always head to the Newcastle Farmers Market! A great selection of fresh produce to take home but moreover, a great place to have breakfast on a Sunday morning with a huge range of takeaway vendors. It usually results in consuming two brekkies - always a serve of piping hot gozleme served straight off the plate as well as some being else: dumplings, pastries, donuts - the skies the limit *drools*
