Lorella Springs Wilderness Park
We were disappointed with our visit to Lorella Springs because most of the waterfalls weren’t flowing and swimming holes were dry. I would suggest to anyone wanting to visit Lorella Springs is to wait till they have a decent wet season.

We camped and stayed in cabins. If you take the time to hunt around there are some lovely camp spots, particularly near the hot springs near the homestead. The cabins were ultra basic for the price, though beautifully located. The owners have done a good job giving guests access to lots of interesting places on the property, though the welcome" intro for us was more focused on selling chopper rides than explaining what the place had to offer on the ground and the map was beautifully produced though difficult to use."

An amazing remote station offering the chance of a lifetime to camp or Glamp and see some stunning sights , amazing swimming holes and waterfalls, rock formations and billabongs. Then come back and laze around in a hot spring pool. There is a bar and food on offer , ice creams, coffee. Washing facilities also. Some awesome fishing and 4WD tracks. Not much to want for. Excellent experience.

I had an amazing time at Lorella Springs. I stayed for just over 2 weeks and loved the place. From remote camping out on the coast, fishing the Rosie, climbing Walkers rock and the stunning swimming holes this place has it all. Considering the true remoteness of this vast property it’s at true credit to Rhett, his family and the team he has working with him that the whole wilderness park is kept to such a high quality and there is an excellent standard of facilities. It’s also excellent value. I can’t wait to come back again.

Highly Recommended.Lorella Springs Wilderness Park is exactly that, untamed terrain with spectacular gorges, hot springs, caves, fishing, beaches, paintings, wildlife etc.We prepared for this trip appropriately with regards to vehicle setup, fuel, water, camping supplies.I was pleasantly surprised they had flushing toilets and hot shower facilities. Such an awesome unique experience and definitely will be back. I hope it stays the way it is!P.S. we did the Helicopter flight with Nick the pilot and should be on everyone's list as a must do.'We survived the untamed' as they say. Thanks,

Nice spacious sites for camping and plenty of water although it did contain some fine silt, be prepared for clogged filters. The effort and damage we incurred getting there took the shine of our experience. The road in from the Savannah Way is only 29 k but very badly corrugated and took around 2 hrs going slow trying to minimize the impact on our van, we took 2.5 hrs going out. It would be the worst road we have ever encountered in Australia. Lots to see but the roads in the station were not much better than the way in and it took a long time to do some of the bigger trips, lots of large bulldust patches. Met a number of people with van damage, strongly recommend leaving the caravan at Cape Crawford.

We recently visited Lorella Springs for 4 days and had a fantastic time. Thanks for giving the public access to this wonderful place. While some water holes were dry late in the season, there were still plenty of scenic opportunities for a swim available.

We spent 7 days at Lorella Springs.Absolutely Brilliant. Can`t wait to go back. Rhett and staff could not be more helpful. Any problems were dealt with quickly. Loved showering under warm spring water under the stars at night. The spring water pool close to the homestead was wonderful but I personally would have preferred the water cooler but that is my personal preference. All in all,a wonderful experience.

Lorella Springs Wilderness Park
Great week of exploring and enjoying the various spring-fed pools and other sights. Fantastic area and fortunate to have access.Unfortunately, it was a bad wet season so many of the swimming spots were dry. Road up to and then in from turn-off was pretty rough (not maintained at all) - NT Govt. Main Roads dept have really dropped the ball for a major tourist route (Savannah Way) and Lorella Springs access road.

We stayed for 12 days, explored most areas averaging 500ks. We enjoyed all of it.We are used to camping so it wasn’t difficult, we loved using the donkey for heating the showers. The park is spacious and that is brilliant if you like room.Perfect temperature while we stayed and nights cooled off so sleeping was good.Out Highlight was our helicopter flight with Nick, he really goes all out. We caught fish for dinner viewed beautiful sites on Lorella had a cuppa and snack by a remote swimming hole. We think it was well Worth it.Staff all easy and great to chat with. All up our 2 kids aged 11 and 14 and us adults were glad we kept going down the long gravel corrugated road in.
