Highly recommended! Renee and her guitarist Cameron travelled to the Blue Mountains near Sydney and put on a wonderful show! First, Renee and Cameron did an amazing job at our ceremony (processional, music item during the signing of the registry and finally the recessional), then they performed a beautiful 1-hour live acoustic duet, followed by Renee's full DJ set throughout the reception - all up it was about 8 hours of fun!Lisa, who helped coordinate the booking for us, was also very accommodating, friendly and obliging, which made the preparation for the event stress-free and enjoyable.For me, aside from the obvious, the most important component of a good wedding is great music - and BBE delivered! It brought a tear to my eye to hear Love by Lana Del Rey sung in Renee's unique style, while respecting the original. The live set during the early part of the reception was gorgeous and the DJ set was pure fun! Renee even put up with our Eurovision insertions to the set list (not always everybody's taste) and kept us all dancing. My feet hurt the next day which is always a sign of a fun evening.Many people commented on the music at various intervals and the atmosphere created can not be undervalued. A very happy couple!

Renee is not only an exceptional musician but a talented curator of the arts. Over the past month, we worked with her team to select exquisite musicians, singers and performers for each of our events. From start to finish, Renee was nothing short of perfection; always delivering the most lovely musical experiences for our guests, jaw-dropping local fire dancers, and creating a series of memories that our guests will never ever forget. We used Byron Bay Experience on the 12th Nov at Fig Tree Restaurant for our wedding and boy are we glad we did. We loved the day and so did all of our guests. People have not stopped raving about Miss Renee Simone and her voice. Everyone loved every moment. We used Renee in the duo for our ceremony, for live music during canapés and then to DJ.All we can say is WOW! They exceeded all our expectations. The dance floor was packed and we wouldn’t have changed one moment from the day. We really wanted to set the vibe from the music from the day and the team at Byron Bay Experience and Renee smashed it out of the park.We wish we could do it all again tomorrow.Don’t hesitate to book them in, you won’t regret it.

Byron Bay Experience were amazing to work with.
