Very good store. This Dymocks has a wide variety of many books. Like most book stores this one is also set up in aisles regarding book genre's. I think that this is a very effective way of setting up a book store, as it means you are given some what of a outline as to where you would find particular books.Very clean store and very friendly staff that are always willing to help. Very good experience and I will be returning.

3 years ago...They stock a good selection & are always helpful & happy to order for me. Simone should teach a master class in customer service. I'm not a local but they're always worth the train trip. 27thJune 2020. I didn't think they could get any better - how wrong! Had rather a lot to carry as I haven't been here for 6 months thanks to a couple of ops & lockdown. Josh, with Simone's blessing, cheerfully carried my bags up 2 escalators & put me & my shopping in a taxi. Customer service to the highest degree.

Because of pandemic I ordered a book online and some mistakes in the mailing address that was happened by Dymocks postponed my delivery. But I just wanted to really appreciate “Pauline” at Eastland branch because of her help. And I am sure that I could not have my book delivered soon, without her help and consideration. Although this Dymocks store has a great range and great variety of books, I felt the staff were unhelpful and was not listening to my needs.My 10yo son and I we're looking for some new books for him to read and we had asked a staff member if they could help or point us in the right direction choosing books similar to a book he was currently reading. They could only suggest books that their daughter had read. This was very unhelpful as they didn't ask the basic qs i.e, what his interests were or what genre he wanted to explore. I asked another member behind the counter, he blatantly came out with a firm no. We continued to search ourselves. Although we did end up buying one novel, we will not be returning back due to the lack of courtesy in customer service.

As most of the Australian knows that Dymocks is a well known and leading franchised network bookseller all over Australia. Dymocks Eastland is a spacious and fine franchised store at Ringwood Suburb area. I visited twice till now and second time I bought 3 books. The internal environment is very calm and composed with peaceful music. The whole setup of books and sections are well organized and there are 3 to 4 aisle to walk around and lookout for books. The receptionist and the staffs are very humble and supportive.

Very bad customer service!!!I came there last time looking for other language learning book (such as Spanish, German, etc), and the old lady (staff) has answering me with no smile at all, I said “thank you” then she said “ok” without looking at my face and then she left. So rude!!! No wonder why their store at Eastland has few buyers!
