I found Technology on Tap about 5 years ago, every other company had told me I had to replace my entire system! George took the time to find us a cost effective way to move forward and he has been our go to for all things audio and visual as well as IT since then! We bought a house in Canberra after moving down from Sydney. One of the more exciting features was a Clipsal C-Bus system, or so we thought. It was, initially, a nightmare. Lights would turn themselves on and off as they pleased - typically at 3-4am. The irrigation systems had a life of their own and so did the pool equipment. We discovered that Canberra has limited c-Bus service providers and they charged like wounded bulls. So, on a recommendation we sought out George from Techontap in Sydney. If I could give George 10 stars I would. He was absolutely brilliant. He travelled down to Canberra from Sydney (we paid for his travel time, but he charges a very reasonable rate) and set about assessing the issues. His knowledge of C-Bus systems was very impressive, he only fixed what needed to be fixed and had some very complicated issues fixed on the day. He was polite, helpful and accommodative. His invoice was clear and very reasonable. Our electricians that worked with him were also impressed. His after-sales service since has been excellent, happily fixing a few little niggles and glitches that emerged subsequently. The system has worked perfectly since.
