Melbourne BMW Bodyshop

I booked in an appointment to have my car assessed a week ago for a major dent on my BMW, the guy said he would provide me with a quote by the end of the day. I didn't receive anything so I called a few days later. The receptionist was very short with me and told me that the guy doing the quote was very busy and he would send it to me in the next few days..... it's Friday today and I still haven't received anything from Melbourne BMW Bodyshop. Very disappointing considering that the website says your 'BMW is better off in the hands of experts'. How can the experts get the job done if they can't provide a quote to the client!

Shout out to Darin and Alan for being absolutely courteous and professional. Absolutely outstanding service and quality of workmanship. I was kept informed throughout the process, and they went above and beyond to ensure the car was returned in near new condition after a major repair job. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who has a BMW. Workmanship in line with factory standards. Thanks again.

I unfortunately and my car scratched quite dramatically across the left side of my car. I love my bmw and the brand as a whole so decided the best thing to do was to have it repaired at the bmw body shop itself.I had asked the staff if they wouldn’t mind having my car under lights or inside where I can check the finished product just to make sure everything looked ok before returning home. They were oddly reluctant to do this, and questioned why I would want to check.After picking up my car I realised why, there were paint/ dust imperfections throughout the paint. I was shocked by the quality of workmanship and quality control for a brand like bmw.I asked if they would mind polishing it out, and they did, however in the process/ rush they buffed it out so far that the paint was dull and scratched. I was so upset that I just left as I felt uncomfortable talking to the work staff and explaining basic quality expectations. I left not feeling like a customer that just paid a very large sum of money to have half my car resprayed.This occurred 5 years ago, and I’ve been meaning to write a review, I look at my car everyday disappointed at the finish it now has because of that workmanship. I hope that now they have improved, so please don’t take my review as being latest.The reception staff and support staff were nothing short of professional and helpful, the workmanship was far from that same standard.

Darren and the team at BMW Body Shop have done a fantastic job repairing my BMW.When there was a minor hiccup Darren made sure the problem was resolved.Darren was clear upfront when I first attended with the damaged car, and advised me about my right to a rental car as I was not at fault in the accident. He then assisted in organising this.Thanks to a professional team.

These guys are the best. If you have a BMW, the best place to leave it is with BMW. They tried really hard to keep costs down for me, but at the same time wouldn't let me leave without a perfect fix. I have nothing to say but good things. Darin is a good operator.

They did an amazing job on our 2008 335i with Arktis metallic paint which I imagine would have been painstaking to match.No BS with the quoting and advise. Very thorough on inspection and confident on what to do to fix it. Quote was broken down to the tee.The car came out looking absolutely perfect. Like they waved a magic wand and the damage was reversed.I can highly recommend this panel shop.

Reception staff didn’t know anything about the invoice charges yet asked for payment before they had my car ready. Not her fault but it appears she needs to be given some training. Darin was rude and unprofessional, and when I asked him about the invoice they dismissed my questions saying that “insurance companies pay that all the time”. - I am not an insurance company.$125 to reset a fault code (that wasn’t there when we dropped the car in), a $25 “covid levy”, a $5 “epa levy” and $20 for “sundries” which they could not explain or properly justify other than “that’s what we charge”. (All plus gst). Basically $200 added to the bill for nothing - opportunistic rip off charges basically.Despite calling them to advise of pickup time, I was made to wait 35 minutes for the car.Peter however, was a pleasure to deal with - it’s sad that the rest of their staff couldn’t meet his standard of professionalism.

I’ve had the chance to come to Melbourne BMW Bodyshop for 3 times now. I’d have to say their worksmanship and service is top notch.My car was repaired like it was new, and quick turnaround time, I had my car back within a week.If you wanna repair your beloved BMW, there is no better place for it.

I was stressed about my brand new BMW returning back to its original state until I found this repair place. staff are professional, friendly and does quality work. They have replace the door and didn't attempt to beat the panel. painted with original colour and used brand new clips to put back together. The car came back to the state i picked it up from the dealership. Thank you guys Kelly and Darren. A1 Service.

Terrific body repair work on our BMW after it had been sideswiped/hit & run; they addressed every last detail, the car looks like new again, we couldn't be happier with their work and service. Definitely recommend!
