Had the battered fish and chip pack and added a potato cake. I have to say the way they make the batter and the potato cakes are nothing like I have ever seen. The batter was crumbley and seemed to be very light and airy. Having said this, the fish was super fresh as one would expect being near the ocean. This is so far the best fish and chips I have ever had coupled with the unique twist on a potato cake that is just a thick slice of potato that has been battered. It's soft and fluffy inside and cripsy on the outside. My only negative thought has nothing to do with the food and more to do with the seating and poor umbrellas that I feel where not big enough. I feel the shop would benefit from installing a shade that can retract into the side of the shop if the council allows this otherwise some lager umbrellas.

Chose this place because it was the best rated fish and chips in the area, and boy it did not disappoint. Probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The batter they use is so crispy and everything from the fish to the calamari rings, prawns, and chips was cooked perfectly. Please come here if you read this!

Superb fish and chips joint in Anglesea. Definitely worth a stopover if you are driving pass this town along the Great Ocean Road. Their seafood is super fresh and portions are huge and definitely worth the price. They provide very good service as well. Top notch!

Best potato cakes I've ever had. The calamari is superb so fresh and extremely tasty. The chips were delicious also! Can't forget how friendly and serviceable the staff were. Providing great recommendations!I thought that the pricing was a little steep. However once I enjoyed the food the price is for the premium food you are about to enjoy!

Excellent value for money. They cooked the chips just right with the perfect crispness. The grilled fish was tender and flavorful with only a squeeze of lemon needed. The crumbed calamari had the best batter I’ve ever had. Service was attentive and warm. The place to go for fish and chips in Anglesea.

Extraordinary Fish & Chips, the BEST I have ever hadAte there daily whilst on holidays .Grilled fish perfectly cooked, chips were super crisp, potato cakes were like I have never had ( very thick slice of potato covered in the lightest batter), salad was innovative and very tasty. Thank you for such lovely service as well .

Wow. We got two orders of fiah and chips. Best we have ever had both of us. Fish was delicious and fresh. Batter was a light tempora style and was perfectly crispy. They have dialed this in was amazing

Loved our food yet particularly loved the good bant and good vibes by the guy working the counter. Very knowledgeable on all of there food options, including that chicken salt is predominately celery ! Who would have known ? Love this place such a family favourite

Came up for a Sunday drive and remember this fish and chip shop from seeing it on postcards. And OMG they where right best fish and chips ever the potato cakes are to die for and the fish is super fresh.
