We really enjoyed the dishes we had. They were tasty and the serving sizes we good. We returned to Port Douglas 3 months later went there again and the waiter remembered us, impressive.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT IF THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT IS READING THIS THEY MUST ATTEND THIS PREMISES BEFORE THEY KILL SOMEBODY WITH FOOD POISONING! I GOT COLD BLOODY RAW CHICKEN ON THE INSIDE AND THEY REFUSED TO ADMIT IT WAS RAW AND SAID CANNOT ISSUE A REFUND BECAUSE THATS NOT THIER POLICY. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER WHEN THEY ARE LITERALLY THE ONLY EMPTY RESTAURANT IN PORT DOUGLAS THATS ALARM BELLS RIGHT THERE!

Ordered take away delivery. They were polite and attentive to our order. Charged $5 for delivery. Our entree was good, the vegetable samosa was delicious but the chicken tikka was questionable as it was still a bit pink. The butter chicken was average and a bit oily for our taste but had a nice taste. The lamb rogan josh on the other hand was inedible, it resembled nothing like a curry and looked like it had curdled. If you’ve ever tasted braised beef and onion from a can - this is what it tasted like. Service was good but food needs improvement.

It's OK, staff are GREAT. however in my opinion, the food was average. Sorry! That's my taste however, coming from Melbourne we are lucky enough to have many Indian restaurants. And unfortunately I found the dish was more on the watery side compared to the many other restaurants I had tried back home.

Just responding to the owner’s reply to a review I left earlier where I explained the service was slow. I understand that there is a staff shortage in port Douglas. However, other restaurants I have been to have been busier and handled just fine.Also please note for future reference, when a customer leaves you a critical review, it’s not to be intentionally rude; it’s to give you constructive criticism on how to improve and gain more regular customers. Don’t “apologise for your bad experience” but then go on a 300 word rant about how the bad experience is MY fault and not yours. It shows a lack of integrity, professionalism, and overall immaturity on your part.I provided feedback, I do not deserve a rude response.Instead of the 2 stars I gave, I’m giving 1 now.Thank you.

Don't be fooled by it sometimes not appearing busy - this is one of the best restaurants in port douglas. Great service and the food is amazing. We have been here every visit we have over the past 2 years and it is always perfect and our kids ask to come back. Cant recommend highly enough, thanks again

Outside seating, which helps with the atmosphere because inside looks like it needs a fresh coat of paint.The food was superb. Lassi made with fresh mangos. Really enjoyable vindaloo. Serving size was more than we could eat.

Really unpleasant culinary experience.Got mixed up between restaurants and ordered from this one accidentally. Seafood curry tasted more like a sweet salsa type dish and was loaded with artificial red food colouring - definitely wasn’t Kashmiri chilli powder (which is traditionally used in Indian meals to get that really vibrant red) giving it the colour because it literally had no chilli heat whatsoever.Tandoori chicken wasn’t quite as bad but wasn’t much better. Very pedestrian flavours and again tinted with artificial red dye.And it was really expensive for what it was - but then I guess that is typical of all the food in Port Douglas.I would avoid this one.

Just had a take away this evening and it was delicious. We had Lamb Vindaloo, Butter Chicken and rice. The serving size was very good. This is the best Indian Restaurant in Port Douglas without a doubt.

Very delicious food, authentic Indian flavours , good service and restaurant is good venue for a party too.Highly recommend anyone who crave for good Indian food in port Douglas.
