the prople at Coastline Caravans did a great job fixing our caravans burnt out hot water unit. we now have instant hot water. Beautiful job. They even helped us getting our dog sat while the van was getting fixed. Could not speak any higher for this great couple. .Many thanks Mick and Debbie from Melbourne

this company installed a 15 AMP outlet , GPO and safety switch on my campervan. I was told it would take 2 hours. tops in labour. We looked at the cost of the switches etc and they ranged from $12-25 for the GPO and $20- $50.00 for the external plug and approx $25.00 for the safety switch, all up approx $100.00 in parts plus $10-$20 in wiring. however when we came to pick up the campervan they bill came to $990.00 !!!. My husband asked for a break down of the cost at the time but was told “ we dont do that” , however I rang and insisted a break down. To my surprise the cost of the GPO and 15 amp plug and safety switch was $397.27 !, then there is the cost of 4.5 hours labour. This is outrageous. I feel that just made up the breakdown of costs to suit the amount we had to pay , as they could not provide this at the time Not only that they screwed the plug to the floor that is a sealed floor , that now has holes into and no sealant, and the screws were protruding approx 5mm out of the floor. They also packed the tent up wet and if we had not discovered this it could have lead to mould. I will never use this company again. it I could give it no stars I would

Coastal Caravans were very accommodating when concept asked them to take a look at our water pump. They could do it immediately we got into Harvey Bay - on our way to our camp. Can't beat that kind of service. Water pump was replaced on the spot and our holiday continues. Thanks Guys!!

We found Coastline Caravans via Google and and we just turned up, jockey wheel on the van was re welded on the spot, fantastic work, service and price. Thanks again for the prompt response and excellent service. Cheers

Excellent service! Matt is an experienced caravan repairer and also a qualified mechanic dedicated to do an honest, excellent job, every time! He did body repairs on my motor home, installed a solar system and TV aerial as well as a full service. Together with Sherie, they run a successful business! I will go back to them every time, which bears testimony of their excellent work.

I am very happy with the work done by Matt and his team. Very prompt with the quote and then the following week all work done quickly and well. I would recommend them.

The pop rivets had come out if the hinge on the boot lid they replaced all rivets and resealed everything while Iwaited great team great serviceCan't recommend the high enough,

Coastline Caravans recently did an urgent replacement of a tv antenna on our caravan I couldn’t fault their professionalism or the quality of their work and I would not hesitate to recommend them for any work you need done. We were particularly impressed with the no fuss, no nonsense attitude of both Matt & Sheree and the fact that for tradespeople they actually did what they said they would do on time. Absolutely the most unprofessional repairer out there. The repair was not done correctly. So bad that the insurance company is looking at a write off with salvage as the key. An absolute mess. Used second hand panels with damage apparant. Did nothing to fix damaged structure from incident but packed it out and glued with mastic to cover. Structural damage is still there.This was a coverup job. Charged $200.00 to run a bead of silastic around airvent. Used silastic to fill jole in roof instead of replacing panel. I watched the guy do it with 5 min of work and a$10.00 tube of silastic. He also falsely stated damage to other vehicle. Insurance company dealing with this. Physically attacked by owner and abused. Failed to plug in freezer and destroyed our frozens and then claimed the power lead was theres. Did not care or offer help as we removed rotten frozens and commented my dogs will eat well tonight. Must mean his dog goons. Damaged my vehicle by putting forklift under rear to remove from his driveway outside boundry. He had no right on public road to come near usQuoted $200.00 to make a bracket for generator. Then charged $250.00.Had 2 goons who verbally and physically threatened. Should have known by the shambles of his yard and workshops. Absolutly nice to you untill you refuse to accept his way or highway then goes off his rocker.Probably spent around $2500.00 including replacement Dometic toilet which did not work. Just stuffed excess water pipe in to behind panel kinking it. Toilet electrics never worked. Charged insurance company $6850.00. A total ripoff.

We had a leak in our roof. Upon contacting coastline caravans they turned up that day. They explained what they were going to do and proceeded to carry out the work.The leak found and repaired.They were very professional in there work and the there rates extremely reasonable.I am usually wary of commenting on work carried out but i have no hesitation in recommending them in hervey bay.
