Authentic Malaysian food. reasonably priced. Delicious nasi lemak with thick curry chicken gravy. Reminds me of home.

Char kway teow was ok, pad Thai noodles rather than flat rice noodles were used. Cleanliness could be improved.

Had their Jawa Mee (Special) & Char Kuey Teow, both which were really delicious.Also had their Thai Rice (Special) & Lor Mee, which was so good.Be sure to ask what they have on special.

The taste of the fried vermicelli with combination of meats and egg sauce was above average. The vermicelli was lightly stirred fried and gave a less roasted smell and taste. The prawns weren't the best but the chicken is very fresh and tasty. (2021-06)Over the years, this restaurant has improved the quality of the food. The helpful and friendly staffs gave us good and quick services. We enjoyed the meals! (2021-04)

This place is a great Malaysian Chinese hawker food experience. The food is simple, tasty, authentic and priced fairly. Water is available, serve yourself. Love the outdoor seating on the front when the weather is ok, and there is a gas heater available for when it is very cold. If you enjoy Malaysian hawker style food, can't go wrong here. Oh, and parking is free and easy.

This has been our local favourite feel good eatery ever since they open in June 2018.The head chef is still the same cooking up delicious authentic Malaysian cuisine, even with a recent change of ownership.This restaurant has brought life back to the little corner on Barbican Street ever since it’s opened, with the mostly packed days a testimony of both the cuisine and services.Service remains efficient and good, and prompt serving of dishes ensure a great dining experience, especially with young kids.Overall a really family friendly Malaysian restaurant serving up delicious cuisine to cure your homesickness.Some of our favourite dishes include Penang Assam Laksa, Rochor mee, combo hofun with egg sauce, Claypot curry fish head, hokkien char, japanese tofu hotplate & char kway teow.

We ordered a char kuey teow and a Jawa mee (only available on weekends) for lunch. It is a very small shop but they offer authentic and delicious Malaysian dishes.

It’s an amazing place, no matter dine-in or take away. Breakfast menu from 8-11am $9. Highly recommended

Not good! I ordered roast pork wanton noodle. I suspect the roast pork was not fresh. It was re deep fried or air fried. The wanton was terrible. Looks like a frozen food version. The noodle was far too salty. My partner ordered nasi lemak. The curry chicken tasted odd. Very strong spicy taste. Overall my verdict is a place to avoid!

Delicious Penang cuisine if you like asian food. You can bring your own alcohol drinks. I went there two times and always full house.
