A fairly easy ride from the Margaret River township via the Wadandi Track. We enjoyed some green trails today which were well thought through with graduated twisty uphill sections providing good flat runs before the fun began with some tight twisty sections and kickers keeping us entertained. Great advice from the Hairy Marron at the beginning made it a really enjoyable morning.

The Chimney Walk trail is currently being realigned and upgraded to create a 3km return trail. The Big Brook trail and Pine tree trail no longer exist.

Gorgeous walk, me and my partner wandered through the Chimney trail and were stunned at how pretty and diverse the trail was.Lots of very picturesque detours along the way to grab some photos in, and the chimney itself was impressive. Very interesting to think about how the land was used before us.The rest of the trails looked incredible and we were jealous of the people who had mountain bikes! We hope to return again soon to try bike some of it.

Top tip! Do the Chimney walk, it’s well signposted and takes about an hour (the Pines/Brook walks are not signposted and very confusing to follow). We saw skinks, kookaburras, ring necked parrots, bull ants, hornets, and lots of wildflowers.South West Australia is cool

Walked it today 13/9/21 and track detour at MR end while bridge maintenance is going on. Track is pretty wet and muddy in quite a few places especially the top half on way to Cowaramup. Bike riders will definitely get a bit dirty.
