Kimmy the owner of Cherry Moon is who I think of every time I want to compare a chef to a cook.She has a magical way of making both simple things and things that sound like I won’t like absolutely delicious. I’ve seen how she does this and it’s like watching rain man - she totally understands her ingredients, heat and fusion. She is the most beautiful and passionate person and runs a totally unassuming and lovely space where she never cuts corners and serves up food in a class of its own.Way way more than a coffee shop or general store and definitely somewhere worth traveling to visit.

Very nice local cafe located in a quiet backstreet. I’ve been coming for years- they’re always friendly. Coffee was more consistent before they reopened and I preferred it when it was a stronger brew but that just my preference. Baked goods are excellent especially the cinnamon scrolls and cherry tart. Bread is wood fired, dense and crispy on the outside as wood fired bread should be.

Cherry Moon is easily my favourite cafe in Sydney. Their food and coffee is so yummy, the veg and vegan foccacia, the wattleseed and macadamia brownie and the Russian honey cake are literally my favourite things. They also make wood fired peanut butter which is as delicious as it sounds. I cannot recommend this cafe more.

The owner, chef and baker Kim has an unparalleled passion for flavour combinations. She merely has to talk about food to make mouths water.Her experimentation with food is constantly ongoing to bring new experiences, whilst maintaining steadfast staples such as her award-winning bread, lovingly cooked daily in her hand made wood-fired pizza oven.ALL the ingredients are locally sourced and as fresh as possible.Treat yourself and see why there is always a queue at the Cherry Moon store.

One of Sydney’s gems! Absolute neighbourhood favourite. Funky selection of pastry’s and breads that always keep you on your toes every visit. Their highlights have to be the cinnamon scroll,The classic sourdough loaf with a fig leaf baked on to it giving an amazing earthy flavour. The staff are wonderful, especially Eloise who will always stop to say hello to the animals and an honourable mention to the other blonde girl!The coffee is slightly above average, just missing something to take it to the next level, whether its a super strong barista or just simply better beans.Overall… one of the best cafes/bakeries/spots in Sydney. Amazing value. Appeals to most people

A lovely little spot for a coffee, breakfast or brunch. I was pleased to see a selection of savory items to choose from inside the cafe, including beef pies, selection of pizzas, sandwiches and pastries.We all opted for the pork and caramelised onion pizza for $8, very tasty, could have eaten more!
