Winchester Motel in Moree
We booked into this motel on our way from NSW to Queensland as we were looking for a pet friendly motel and this seemed to get good reviews. The room was infested with crickets and silverfish - they were everywhere. We didn’t even sleep in the beds…just on top!!! We were out of there first thing in the morning. If you are thinking of booking here, my advice is…..don’t!!!!

Needed a pet friendly accommodation travelling from Mackay to Melbourne, rang and booked a room getting a price and date ,on arrival after long drive the manager was so rude calling me a liar and the set price had gone upI have never dealt with such a individual, would not even book accommodation here as you may be in for a surprise on arrival

Nice clean room, bed was comfortable. Love the big TV with free Netflix. Owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. Will definately stay again.

Arrived late at night after a stressful and long drive. Eddie the manager was very welcoming and helpful. Room great, very clean and everything we wanted. Location quiet and gated at night so secure. Due to severe flooding roads in and out of Moree were closed, thus our stay was extended. This did not prove to be a problem for either Eddie, our dog or us, in fact I was sad to leave! Defintely would stay again. i

Winchester Motel in Moree
We stayed here during the recent floods as we were stuck while travelling through Moree. The manager, Eddie, was so accomodating and we were extremely grateful for his amazing hospitality. The rest of the staff were also great, namely Troy. The rooms were clean and had all the basic amenities. We would certainly recommend and we would stay again.

The hotel is great for an overnight stay and the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. I think this hotels is good value for what you get.

The best place to stay very friendly was great with the rooms are great bed and pillows are so comfortable the receptionists are nice and friendly.Clean and comfortable great stay.Recommended!!!!!
