Monaco Aquariums now Canley Vale Aquarium

I remember coming here with my Dad for the first time when I was 12 years old and it's still the same people that runs the shop. Always friendly, helpful, fair and by far my favourite Aquarium shop till this day.Yes it may be a small shop but they have pretty much what you need and a whole lot more.Superb prices and a great overall experience in my opinion also!

Shop owner is nice and knowledgable. Lots of fish to choose from. Agood variety of good quality fish. Some of my favourite fish ever I got from here. They sell tanks and accessories as well.

The only thing is cash only. No card payment. Price is reasonable, healthy fish and fish food is good quality too

Only this shop is stupid enough to put Siamese fighter fish in one tank, but I'm not stupid enough to pay $10 for a fish that has been shredded and has no tail

Lots of fish but probably up there as one of the worst fish stores I’ve been to. I’m sorry but seriously think about the fish’s quality of life. Three rows of tanks, they’re big tanks! however its clear that there’s a lot of maintenance needed in cleaning them and the tanks are left cloudy, mouldy and dirty looking. The fish too seem to appeared neglected, some with missing eyes and deformities and lots of dead fish. When you look up by the rows you can tell the order of neglect or lack of maintenance… the bottom row you can see into the tank but appears mouldy all the way to the top where you have pitch black tanks where you can see subtle movements????. I really hope there isn’t any fish up there or there’s a back room where they are at least getting light and it’s only a black sheet…, however the with the size of the store I highly doubt it. This store and WTFish really need to look into taking care of their fish…

Either incompetent or dishonest, whichever it is just be super careful with your dealing with the owner. Also He will never tell you the facts directly and lead you to draw a conclusion which makes him a sale. It’s what they do in Asia..seen it all too often. If you can put up with this, then buy here, if not, pay a premium and buy from a decent but expensive aquarium elsewhere like one in Auburn where everything is perfect. Just be aware the fishes have a higher tendency to get sick, because of the lack of maintenance, other customers handling the fish improperly from the tank (who cares about the fish they caught, it’s the ones they left behind waiting for you to buy next you need to worry about) and quick moving box attitude.

Good prices and nice amount of stock

A lot of 5 star reviews for a reason. I loved this shop. Got a new tank that's great quality and was an absolute bargain! Had freshwater fish I'd never seen before. Amazing. Must see!
