We stopped in here on our way back to Melbourne after a weekend in the Yarra Valley and it’s the perfect weekend brunch spot! We had the granola and chilli scramble and coffees. Everything was honest, wholesome food. Only feedback would be to hold off on the icing sugar on the granola. The service is wonderful, and there is ample outdoor seating if you are bringing your furry friend.

Beautiful staff, lovely and reasonably priced food and very well made coffee and hot chocolate. We were camping in the area and had a wonderful experience here. A warm and homely vibe, definitely worth a visit!

Great coffee and variety of lovely gourmet cakes. The food was delicious and recommend it to all visiting and living in Kinglake area. Beautiful fireplace at the back and nice to sit near during cold winter months.

The woodfire Prosciutto pizza, lentil salad, arancini!Delicious! The prosciutto pizza slightly cooked differently, the prosciutto and rocket were added after the dough and cheese were cooked. Didn’t mind it at all, usually cooked in the wood oven with all the ingredients already added in but must say it was still pleasant and tasteful!Arancini balls were dressed really well siting on a creamy sauce which complimented it and was not dry!Lentil salad was fresh and flavoured really well and vegan friendly! The outdoor setting and ambient was the main attraction for me, such an inviting venue with plenty of space and seatings inside and out and felt more like a beer garden! One of many great finds in Kinglake if you are in the area!

We discovered this place in between lockdowns last year. They do wonderful pies and sausage rolls and a heap of other delicious things too! So good to see them busy and bustling after such a hard year. Worth the drive up to Kinglake just for a pie although the the breakfast and lunch menu are also worth a look.

Staff are genuinely friendly and the food & beverage are faultless. I had a satay chicken and I thought the chef is Asian. The cakes are to die for. Nothing can beat your food served with a smile.

A nice little cafe in Kinglake. There's an antique shop you can visit inside the cafe too, which was rather nice. The food was good but the burger could have used more seasoning. The pork belly pizza was nice but it would have been better if the apples were more on the sour side to counteract the fattiness of the pork and cheese on the pizza. The cafe staff was very friendly and it was a very nice cafe. Would like to try the other dishes, should we pass Kinglake again.
