Unreal……. My mate and I were up from Adelaide for the night to see a comedy show upstairs, I came 2 hours early by mistake, but it worked out greatThere was live music on the Tuesday night we were there, open mic for local artists and it was awesome, venue staff were great and very friendly.The atmosphere of this place is like nothing I’ve really felt before, large but small at the same time, there was even a friendly little dog running aroundThe comedy show upstairs was great, we came to see Lewis Spears for his new show as part of the comedy festival as the runner chicken is an offical venue10/10 thanks heaps guys

Lovely vibe and friendly staff. The decor is very funky and retro. We were lucky to arrive just on happy hour and ALL jugs were $15. Most other pubs it’s just a small selection of beers. A great place to chill out and relax after work. I think it’s mostly comedy for entertainment here, but you might catch the occasional band too.

Stand-up comedy and live music, combined over two floors, including an incredible sun deck. Perfect for corporate functions, birthdays, hens nights or even a romantic night out for two. The jerk chicken and homemade lasagna are favourites and they have their own beer on tap.The venue also supports the Melbourne International Comedy Festival with three to six different shows per night during the months of March and April.

A big pub with great atmosphere. When we walked in, we felt welcomed. We'd arrived early for a comedy show upstairs, so we sat in this room just off the bar that felt like a big lounge room. We played uno and had a few beers while we waited. Staff were very friendly and the comedy show was very good too.

We love this venue! Great place for stand up comedy and live music.The staff are a very friendly and welcoming bunch serving a great selection of beers and wine.The food is authentic Caribbean soul food and is absolutely delicious.Highly recommended!

Popped in for Saturday lunch and was super impressed with the food. We had the parma and beef burger. Parma had a great crumb and was most. The beef burger was next level. The patty was moist and the flavour was sensational. I'd go back again and again for that burger. Our host was super friendly and helpful. Thanks Rubber Chicken for a great lunch!

What a blast!!One of the most professional and effective training processes I have participated in. Ever.Considering stand-up frightens more people than dying does, running a course that takes everyday people and teaches the skills, techniques and confidence to perform in front of a live audience sounds impossible. And yet that’s exactly what Brad Oakes and Morry Morgan.In such competent and gentle hands, the small group was led through a process that created a fantastic night of laughter – each new comic staying true to their authentic selves and mining their own life experiences to write and deliver terrific comedy.With such genuinely enthusiastic support and guidance from Morry and Brad, anyone wanting to experience the live mic high can definitely achieve their dream.Thanks guys - an experience I can be proud of!
