Mayfield Swimming Centre
Visited today at around 1:30pm, was fairly quiet and had plenty of space to play and swim around. Mayfield Swimming Centre has probably the best facilities you can expect from a public pool with clean amenities and swimming areas, a small fun playground for the kids and a fantastic grassed area for picnics and sports, plus a basketball hoop.

Large grassed area w/trees to escape heat and a decent pool w/attendants regularly patrolling. Only negative is the outside could do w/some TLC. Wouldn't take much to remove the farmers friend, weeds and rubbish from the large garden area and all the pavements surrounding the complex and put in more plants/shrubs to make it more aesthetically pleasing.

The facility is clean but dated. There is a fairly modern non-gendered ambulant bathroom facility. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would advise lap swimmers to check lane availability on the website before going. There are also bbq areas for parties and a kiosk with a limited range of food at set times during the day. Normally plenty of close parking available.

It is so good having this facility in Mayfield. It is great place to escape the heat, exercise, or have the kids play and build their water confidence. Very laid back, but with all the amenities you need. Bbq areas and playground add to the value. Such an important community asset!

The shower area in the ladies could do with a redo, the pool would be so much better if it was open all year round and heated in winter accordingly. The pool is beautiful and the staff lovely.

Mayfield Swimming Centre
Really grateful simple square 25 metres with a great 3.5 m deep step at one end for diving. Connor feels like a little country town pool with a park alongside and some nice trees to sit under and they seem to look after their grass really well too
