What an amazing book store! Friendly staff, a great recommended reads shelf, lots of bargains and a much broader selection of books than some of the big name retail chains!

Goto bookshop in Ballina. So glad it survived COVID lockdowns & social isolation. Great selection & bit eclectic in choice of books available. Been coming to this store for a decade.

Good range of books and jigsaw puzzles. Good for a browse and to find a quick read.

Great friendly service and a affordable price. Went here looking for a book for my daughter and the staff were more than helpful.

Nice remainder book store with good prices, not to be confused with the main Book Warehouse store with a full stock of books a block further east down River Street. Good range for remainders, also some art supplies. A few reviews on here are actually talking about the other store.

They do not do returns on purchases made that same day.They have this posted very small in the store. My fault for not looking for the sign. I understand this. I found the same book at a larger retailer for more than half the price (exactly the same, cover and everything). After I told who I believe is a manager/owner it was explained to me that they cannot compete on pricing with larger retailers. Again, I understand this. she offered, begrudgingly a store credit for the not-even-out-of-the-bag books, which I had to take. however, I have been working retail for years, small business and big business. I have also been shopping with this store chain for years, bought hundreds of books with them. looking after your customers is what keeps you around. I would have been happy to keep my money there if I had have received amazing customer service during my initial visit. I did not. I had to chase down the employee when no one else was in the store, and then had to convince her to show me where the book was rather than her pointing across the room at a wall that has 300+ books. Perhaps if they stocked books I couldn't easily get else where, but I know that they do not. I like going to a book store rather than a big retailer or online, but i work hard for my money and I will spend it where I get looked after. Sad to say that when I spend my store credit, it will be the last time i spend money with this retailer.

Great friendly staff, had most of the books I wanted. Didn't have some more obscure pol-sci stuff but was happy to order it in. A++

Its nice to roll in to a book shop or any shop for that matter, and find the staff knowledgeable and helpful. Old fashioned quality service with a smile. Love it.
