The owner Mark prepared my Sandwich and only put two strains of chopped lettuce on the entire 1 foot roll..After I asked him if he can add some more lettuce as I am paying for it, he got really nasty and said that this is it, they don't put on anymore then that.I said that I am happy to pay for it, although I am paying for a proper amount of lettuce anyway.He then took my Sandwich crunched it up and through it away behind the counter, and mouthed off at me and asked me to leave the store.When I told him that he is very rude to his customers, he came around the counter and physically grabbed me and through me out of the store. He phisicaly assaulted me, only for asking to put more lettuce which he is charging for anyway.I had a lady approach me after the incident and she said that he has done the same thing to her brother not long ago.Subway in Cooma is Not a recommended friendly business. Very abrupt and bitter person that should not be operating a customer facing business. I would actually sack him from his job, as this is absolutely not the way to treat people especially in a small town where everyone knows everyone. Shame on you Mark. You get a 0 from me and I will spread the word. People should know you are a dangerous ignorant person.

I bought a Subway Classic Chicken and it was served by a nice young girl. I could have all the things that I wanted in my Subway including baby spinach, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, pickles and olives. But when it's my nephew's turn. He was served by a grumpy old man that told him, he could only have lettuce and tomato and he would charge him extra money if he wanted other things. I didn't really know what was going on so I didn't interfere. I have been buying Subway for a long time and never encountered such a horrible Subway staff. Is it because we were not locals, so he thought he could treat us like that? I regretted that we gave the business to him simply because KFC next door which we originally planned to buy was not ready at that time. Never again we would stop by Subway Cooma on the way or back from Jindabyne. Horrible Subway!My nephew just came here bare 8 months ago, he wouldn't have a clue that BLT really means he couldn't have onions, olive and pickles! At other Subway it was never a big deal to ask for onion, pickles and other things on your Subway! NEVER!

Manager somehow thought that the Friday of the Canberra Day long weekend was a good time to train two new people on their first shift. I'm not sure how a reasonable person could think that's a good idea

Burnt the inside of my mouth with the latte. Asked for more cold milk and was told it already had milk in it. They put in some room temperature long life milk to cool it down with very little effect. The cashier wears gloves to pick out cookie's and then handles dirty money from everyone (not at all hygienic for the customers) - passed on that idea. Food was otherwise good.

Best Subway joint!!! Lovely fresh food which was delicious. And the friendliest staff!! Definitely my new go-to stop when travelling through Cooma.
