I had a procedure done yesterday in Day surgery, i found the staff to be helpful, communicating and sensitive to the patients needs, I also found the respect and communication was very good between the staff, They do a exception job, i thank them all,

After a 9 hour wait I left emergency having not been seen by a doctor !! No offer of pain management! Staff I spoke to had poor communication skills and despite several promises to give me some indication as to when (or even if) I would be seen they failed to follow through. I can accept a long wait but promising to check then deliberately “ghosting “ an injured person is unacceptable. I would avoid at all costs. Next time I’ll get a taxi to Epworth in Geelong. A polite request to get the email of the CEO to make a formal complaint was met with lies and subterfuge. It’s depressing that the citizens of Colac have such a poor hospital.

Great helpful staff do an awesome job with the resources they have. But remember it's a PUBLIC DENIST and unfortunately in Australia Health Care you get what you pay for. My advice save up your $ get a loan do what you can to see a private dentist it will cost you less in the long term and you won't be left waiting in a public system for unknown amounts of time for referral etc. As stated the girls do a great job and will help all they can working with our second rate Public Health Services.

Couldn't have asked for a better surgery experience. Dr Judith Fleming and her team were fantastic surgeons, and the nurses that cared for me were amazing. Big thanks to George, Pauline, Georgia and Carla for their care and support whilst I was there. Can't recommend highly enough.

Could not fault my experience at this hospital. Went in for an op (including overnight stay), and the nurses, doctors, surgeon were all so accommodating, caring and friendly. The hospital itself is intimate, peaceful and comfortable but boasts up-to-date facilities, ensuring a more than pleasant stay.
