An Excellent Dentist & Staff.One Friday morning after a night of toothache, I contacted my regular dentist in the hope they would get me in for an appointment. The best they could do was put me on a waiting list or failing that get me in the following week. I seriously needed to see a dentist and asked if they could recommend anyone else. I was given this Dental Surgery - Dixon Road Dental. Friday 8.15am spoke with a member of staff, she said she would have a better idea once the dentist arrived (Joe Muscara) and they would fit me in, even if it was just to prescribe painkillers to see me through the weekend.9.15am I got a call. Could I go down straight away. No problem".After inspection and x-rays it was decided a tooth (root canal/crown) would be extracted

He is someone that genuinely cares for his patients and goes above and beyond the call of duty to not only make you feel at ease but to explain to you what is required. I enjoyed my experience at Dixon Road Dental Surgery. Joe was very open and honest about everything, explaining in detail what I needed and what he thought was best for me. Everything went smooth and quick with no problems. Joe made me feel very calm and comfortable talking to me the whole time and even had a bit of a laugh. The rest of the staff was very professional and kind as well. Will always come back here for any dental work.

It took me years to find a good dentist to trust then unfortunately the surgery closed so the rounds of a few more ended in frustration in the cost and lack of trust. My brother suggest the Dentist in his area, so 457 kms later I’m there parked on the lawn with my car and trailer, I’m early as I know I have paperwork to do but no sooner is that done, Joe greets me with a smile and some friendly comments to relax me. The last dentist keep me waiting 25 minutes and I was the first patient for the day and no one else there so we are off to a good start. I’m terrified of the dentist after an extremely bad experience when I was 12 so Joes detailed explanation followed by any questions is going a long way to relax me before he embarks on the two hour appointment,Joe is definitely good at what he is doing as he works his way through the five repairs, I’m actually starting to relax which after 54 years since my bad experience is a first and strangely rewarding.I now have another visit in a months time to do one more filling and a clean which I can’t believe I’m saying I’m actually looking forward too but I am. I have confidence in Joes honest approach, his detailed explanation of my dental needs and practical plan to gets my Teeth back on track after a two year absence from any treatment.I really do believe I have received exceptional dental work at a realistic cost. Joe is definitely a great dentist backed up by a great team at Dixon Road Dental Surgery.

I highly recommend Dixon Road Dental Surgery. I was treated respectfully by all the staff and I had everything explained to me throughout the whole time I was there. I had all options laid out clearly with all the pro's and con's explained thoroughly. Previous experiences at other dentists made me very reluctant to be seen to.
