The Woombye Pub
The renovation was much needed, the new pub is fantastic! The new kids playground is great and the fact that parents can sit right outside it and enjoy their time while still being able to see their kids is a winner. When we visited last night Jen was doing the job of 4 people effortlessly, she had a lot to do yet remained professional, happy and helpful! Only criticism is that we did ask for all the food to come out together but a full size pizza came out about 20+ minutes before the rest of the food. Otherwise everything else was great and it will be our new local!

I attended a party there recently. There were 50 + people there. Unfortunately some of the bar staff were very rude and demanding. I am all for rules but it is a sad world when people state these in a manner that is disrespectful and rude. Manners go a long way. We were not allowed to eat the food that was ordered at the tables near the bar and at no time was the food delivered in a polite respectful way. One staff refusing to take pizzas to another table although the people had said they had enough. Considering the amount of money that would have been spent that night one would imagine that even if you didn’t want to be there you should show respect to the patrons. Kindness and respect would have went a long way that evening and any issues could have been avoided . The reply to the person who had the party and left a review appalling and disrespectful. Where has common decency respect and a passion for work gone

The old bar room is a standout. The eating areas have been renovated to a more modern look. Pokies are there but almost hidden so that's always a positive.

Be aware of their specials - while they may look attractive, in fact their more pricey than standard menue. For instance, Parmi Night specials offer Chicken Schnitzel for $16 and Traditional Parmi for $18 comparing with $22 and $24 in standard menue, respectively. However, portion in standard menue weigh 300g while portion in specials are 200g only. Make your calculations and don't be misled and deceived.

Only 1 star as we went on a Tuesday and the kitchen is closed on Monday & Tuesdays.16/9/22Returned to enjoy lunch in a party of 3. Their signature burger, The Woombye, was amazing! Will definitely be back for this one again real soon. They make 2 different relishes in house that accentuate the flavours. Ask about them .. they'll enjoy telling you about them.

This is $20 worth of food. 3 arancini for $13, that were luke warm and fell apart immediately. $7 for a small circle container of dry, barely seasoned mashed potato. I'm incredibly disappointed and I will not be coming back.

Absolutely love the atmosphere at the Woombye pub and the food has always been great. We were celebrating my child's birthday and they gave us a free activity pack.However, when booking we requested to be close to the playground and the table they gave us was completely out of view and around the corner from the playground. Luckily there was an empty table with enough seats right next to the playground so we were able to move.
