The Mystery Sock Laundrette
No exhaust fans working so it’s like a sauna in here. The washing machine second from the door eats your money and the clothes dryers need the lint filters emptied occasionally. The change machine doesn’t work so you have to run around on the weekend hoping another business will sell you some change. The floors are dirty so I don’t want to fold my sheets in case they get dirty again. I was the first person in at 7 am so it would appear no one comes in to clean and set up at the start of the day.

Everything is grotty. Clothes came out of washing machine with sand on them. All washing machines and dryers have dirt, grit and lint in them. Coin machine broken. No soap for sale so you need to bring your own. Dryers do not work at all. 24 minutes of drying and clothes were not even warm, let alone dry. It is the only place in area open on weekends but if you can wait for one of the other services to open, wait. Owners clearly don't care as most reviews are terrible, say the same things and yet they haven't fixed it. Save your money and hand wash or wait for one of the other services to open.

Stale smelling and always dirty. There is no sign to tell you how much a load. $4 to wash and even though you choose hot water they are all cold. Takes a long time for the water to trickle in before your 30 min wash starts. The change machine only accepts $5 or $20. $10's for some reason are rejected. The mobile telephone no. isn't answered immediately but Misty did ring back within a short time. No laundry soap available nor a tap or sink. Bring your own disinfectant wipes to clean the machine. Could be so much better just with a clean each evening or morning.

Unfortunately there are no other self serve laundrettes in the area. After reading the horrible reviews I continued ONLY because I was desperate and had no other option. Well the reviews did not lie. The chnage machine has been broken for over 3 months (another person posted this 3 months ago and it is still not fixed) The dryers lived up to all the bad reviews too. $1 is 8 mins. After spending $11 and 88 mins of my life waiting, the clothes still weren't dry. I highly recommend NOT going there.

Horrible! Disgusting! We putted clothes in 3 different laundries. the 1st one ate the money. then the clothes come out with stain!! all of then! we tried to wash one last time with no sucess. then the drier stops midway. to finish the clothes came out worst that when they got in. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

The only mystery is how this place is still in business. My clothes would’ve gotten dryer if I had spent the time breathing on them rather than using their machines. Save yourself the trouble and do laundry somewhere else.

spent 20 minutes looking for a place to get cash out because their change machine was broken just to find the washing machines don’t even start. lost about $10 trying to get it to work

Went to wash a couple of loads as our washing machine is getting repaired. NONE of the washing machines worked. I tried them all, switched them on and off... nothing. Looked for a number to call... nothing. Called the number on google... doesnt even ring. Looked for a price for how much money to put in... nothing.Why even open?

2 machines took our money, place is dirty with beer bottles left out. Machines are old with change only, change machine broken. No contact numbers, price lists or instructions.Must be a money laundering business as there's no way this place makes money.Just avoid if possible.

Dirty, old, dryers not very efficient and money change machine broken. One of the worst laundrettes I've ever seen!
