Lost my keys to a 2000 Lancer on a Saturday at 12.00 (and I only have one key). Car was in the library car park. Spoke to 4 locksmiths 3 couldn't help and one want $850 to cut and code a new key. Then I spoke to Richard. Richard got to me in about an HR and cut and coded the key in less than 1hr. He charged me $350 for his service. What a pleasure to find someone who is a true master at their craft. His knowledge is second to none. We talked for 15 min after he completed the job (I have spent 20yrs in computer industry, so technical issues are something I have experience with) and his knowledge of modern day immobilizer systems is extensive. Not that I need them very often, but he is the ONLY locksmith I will use in the future. (He even offered, if my keys are found, to recode the old key for $30, so I have a second key). I wholeheartedly recommend this company. Adrian

I recently had a problem with my exciter coil/ immobilizer,after being told by mitsubishi that i had to get a new one($400+) and that there was no stock in australia(covid)i took it to richard and within 3 days he had my car up and running after rewiring my coil and all for less than a 1/4 of mitsubishi's quote!these guys are the real deal,extensive knowledge and even after rebuilding my exciter coil richard had other ideas to implement to make sure i had a car on the road(not needed but a great reassurance)highly recommended

Richard quickly repaired our broken car key late on Sunday night to ensure that we could use the car on Monday morning. We appreciated the quick turnaround and the reasonable price.

Richard and his staff have been tending to our door locks for over twenty years. Today I called because our front security door lock stop locking, only to be told to call another locksmith - they were taking no new residential work. When told of my loyalty to their business over decades, I was told that 'the boss is away and I have one locksmith doing commercial work. I won't be able to get to you for over a week'.So much for loyalty and customer service!

Got locked out of my 2004 E46 BMW, Gave Cohoes a ring and they are the only guys in town who could open my BMW due to the lock been hard to open and needing a special lockpick.I Arranged a suitable time with the manager for them to come open my car which happened to be in his lunch break but this was not a issue, and he turned up right on time during his lunch break and had my car open in 3 minutes without a single hassle.Highly Recommend these guys, they know there stuff and do the job hassle free.Thanks Cohoes :-D
