Create Estate

I've seen a few very positive reviews for this company, all regarding bed heads, and it looks like they do a good job on those. I unfortunately ordered a custom bench seat cushion and I suspect cushions are not this company's forte. When I picked the cushion up, there was a loose seam with large threads sticking out and small hole in the fabric. I returned the cushion and the faulty panel was replaced. The seam now looks great but the new panel is too large and the foam no longer fills the cushion cover properly, leaving it saggy and unsightly. Neither one of these problems was identified by Create Estate, so it seems that there is a complete lack of quality control / final checking of products.The wrong fabric colour was also listed on the quote for this cushion, which I fortunately caught. In retrospect, that should have been the first red flag for the lack of attention to detail to come. Add to that, zero response from the company when I emailed about the ill fitting cushion cover, and I am left quite disappointed.EDITING AFTER RESPONSE FROM THE BUSINESS, AS THERE IS NO OPTION TO REPLY. Thanks for your reply but unless you share a phone number, email address and physical address with Create Estate, I most certainly have the correct business. None of the paperwork I have mentions Upholstery by Design. Your staff loaded the cushion into my car and it was driven into my garage, so if there was any dragging it certainly wasn't on my end! It was sitting on the dirty floor behind your desk when I went to pick it up. Perhaps wrapping your products in plastic would be a good idea - it was wrapped after it was repaired but not when I picked it up the first time. Please see attached photos...those are loose threads from poor sewing. You will no doubt have more excuses but I have a second rate product that does not fit well over the foam. If nothing else, hopefully I can help someone else avoid making the same mistake. Merry Christmas!

I am so very happy with my Create Estate experience and highly recommend this company. I found Sam an absolute pleasure to work with and felt like he went above and beyond for me. I live in Victoria and had the floating timber bed base in American Oak delivered.It. Is. Divine. It's made of the highest quality timber, super solid frame and excellent craftsmanship. Assembly was easy with straight forward instructions.If you've been contemplating a purchase or have an item sitting in your cart. Do it. Purchase. You won't regret it!

I came across this little Sunshine Coast gem after seeing they were used by Three Birds Renovation's multiple times.I ordered a bedhead before Christmas for my spare room, and everyone who has visited has made a positive comment about it.Nic & Sam made the whole ordering process very easy, and the quality of the bedhead is very noticeable compared to some of the cheaper options.I will definitely be purchasing another design from them when I re-do my master bedroom.

Incredible experience from start to finish. The team were super helpful in discussing design options, providing fabric swatches and price variations. The bed was ready sooner than expected, Sam was so friendly and easy to get along with while he assembled it - I was particularly impressed with the quality of the base and slats.The finished result is exactly what had visualised. We wanted to support a local company and decided to purchase a bed frame from Create Estate. While their products appeared nice and we had a positive impression after visiting their factory and meeting the owner, our experience soon turned disappointing. Upon assembling the bed frame, we discovered that the corners did not align properly, and there were paint drops on one piece. Despite reaching out to the company via email, their suggested solution of using a rubber mallet to adjust the frame was unsatisfactory for what we expected in terms of quality. After several emails, they agreed to adjust the frame if we bring it back. However, when we informed them that we had no trailer to bring it back atm, they ceased communication altogether. It has been months since our last interaction in March, leaving us disappointed with their lack of response and customer service.Although we did purchase a bed head from Create Estate, which we are satisfied with, we cannot recommend them based on our overall experience.We hope that Create Estate takes this feedback into account and makes the necessary changes to enhance their offerings in the future.

We just got delivery of the floating bed base and it’s absolutely amazing!! Sam from create estate talked us through the assembly over the phone and answered any questions we had. A very personalised customer service, which is outstanding. The product it self is incredibly solid and sturdy. Very well made and put together. You can really tell the amazing craftsmanship that went into it. We’re very happy with it and equally as impressed with the customer service provided by create estate. Amazing stuff highly recommend.

Sometimes, you just find an amazing small business to deal with and Create Estate is one of those special finds. Sam and Nic were a pleasure to deal with, assisted me with a pre-Christmas delivery date, and the end product they delivered was better than my (already very high) expectations.
