Very much a diner/takeaway, but has ripper food, especially for the price. Bacon and egg wrap was killer, very much recommend for smoko if you work in the area. Lovely service and quick.

Great food and service.I've been enjoying the home cooked meals in takeaway container, they are well balanced with fresh and flavoursome ingredients.The in-house made sausage rolls are very nice.Friendly staff, clean diner with ample shaded area for sit down eating.I travel around and 95% live on takeaway food ( so if I tell you it's good food....it is).Cheers MJ.

I eat there regularly, excellent people.Very friendly and service is great .Beautiful tasty food.A little pricy but worth every cent. you must call past and try .

Dave’s Diner is one of the best local places in Townsville to grab a bite to eat. The food is fresh, amazing and made with love. Customer service is excellent, the portion sizing of food is great and the price is perfect for what you’re getting, and what you’re getting will exceed your expectations.

The food here is truly spectacular and for such a bargain, the burgers that we ordered were stacked as high as the ceiling gave nostalgic emotions of family barbecues. The quality of all the ingredients was fresh and you could taste the love that this diner puts into their craft. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful, will definitely be returning here!!

I had a grilled chicken burger I must say it was one of the nicest burgers I have eating in a long time everything was fresh and well presented. This will be my go to burger place from now on. I can not recommend this cafe enough, do yourself a favor and go check it out.

Seen this place as I was driving past and stopped in for a quick bite to eat. I ended up getting takeaway so I can’t comment on the service much but from the interactions I had the staff were pleasant. I got a bacon egg and cheese toastie and the egg was cooked perfectly as was the bacon. The cheese was melted through the whole toastie. Highly recommend stopping in and grabbing something to eat
