Australia Post - Kuranda LPO

For me, it's the two ladies who work here that warrant and deserve this rating. Helpful and honest about cost effective ways to post something somewhere.. Every interaction in 2022 has been a positive customer service experience. Keep up the good work ladies!!

Staff were super delighted to assist in my needs..found ways to send cheapest, lightest..most economical way the 2 parcels to 2 diff addresses. Welcomed me a stranger in town..most. courteous and kind.

I’d like to thank the postmaster of Kuranda Post Office for taking time to contact me regarding my parcel which ended in his PO because I had the wrong postcode. He worked out the intended destination of the parcel and rang to inform me of what had happened and to reassure me that the parcel will be on its way to its intended destination. Thank you once again.

Friendly and efficient staff, rarely a queue. It's always a pleasure to do business. One of the most pleasant post office's I've used.

The friendly staff helped me get the parcel on it's way to a wedding. It has since been confirmed that the parcel arrived in good order and good time.

There has never been a Post Office/Gift Shop as fabulous as this in Kuranda, Queensland. Staff and owners are always pleasant, helpful, patient and individually beautiful individuals. Cindy's gift for buying knick-knacks and pressies is elegant, and unique. Parking in a delightful area is always available.

I went in to my local post office (Kuranda) on Friday at 3pm because I got a text message two days earlier saying I had a package waiting to be picked up. I went in, informed the lady working there whom I've never seen before and showed her my ID and gave her my address. She proceeded to go out the back and pause for a second and yell out to me 'there's a lot of packages out here and they haven't been assigned, can you just come back on Monday' the package waiting for me were gifts for my bridesmaids which I needed for this weekend. I began to tell her the importance and that I needed them and that I had been informed that the packages were there at the post office. She then proceeded to say 'it's too much effort we'll get our delivery lady to drop it to you tomorrow morning' I wasn't in the mood to argue and accepted I wasn't getting my package that day. It is now the afternoon the next day and still no package. I'm extremely upset because they 'weren't bothered' to do their job. And now I have a package missing which has extremely important gifts inside for my bridesmaids.

The people who work there are really helpful and have great customer service .Shame that the old english lady that seems to be there once and a while when I go in has a very bad attitude and a discussing manner which spoils the whole experience of a beautiful place like Kuranda

Thank you so much to the kind lady (we are so sorry we did not get your name) who helped us send our souvenir of Australia home to Canada. She went above and beyond, helping wrap and protect it with care, even putting a little note on the outside of the package that brought a smile when we got home! It arrived safe and sound. We could not have asked for better service.
