What a delightful place! Wait staff were attentive & friendly without being all over us. The wine list was extensive & every dish we had was excellent. Loved the decor. Wish I could afford to eat here every week!

We had the long lunch with unlimited house wine last weekend and it did not disappoint. The dining room is gorgeous, service friendly and authentic and the vibe was everything we look for in a neighbourhood wine bar. We both loved how the wine came out in jugs so there was no issue getting refills, and the food service was well timed over the 2 hour sitting. The food was great and accommodated my wife’s fish aversion. Great value and $110 a head and a wonderful experience that we will surely be back for.

Excellent food and excellent service - the perfect ingredients for relaxed lunch. Being six at the table meant that a good selection from the menu was sampled and not a criticism uttered. Extensive wine list so it’s helpful that the servers know their way around the selections and can, and did, advise well. We will return.

Really excellent meal here. Superb friendly service, professional, and efficient all with a smile. Had the sharing menu, with an excellent Victorian Merlot from an extensive wine list. The food was fantastic, varied and original. Finally, the venue is great, a real buzz, wholly enjoyed with a properly made negroni. By far my best meal yet in Melbourne. Really excellent.

Extensive list of wines! Good recommendations by the wait staff. We spent 4 hours over a boozy lunch and loved it. The food was really good, fresh and had a farm to table earthy vibe to it.

Used to frequent here for the new weekly wine selections, but my last visit was a set menu meal for two that I was really impressed with! Waitress was friendly, helpful, passionate about the menu, and a great sense of humour. Service was timely, and food was exceptional.Ambiance and general vibe is always a win at Neighbourhood Wine, to the point I still visit for meals or their 0% selections after 'going dry'! Cheers Neighbourhood!

Absolutely adore everything about this restaurant - it has the coziest vibes inside!!Amazing wine selection (that shouldn’t be too much of a surprise!) and great food.The ambience is seriously so special. Put this place on your list right away!

It was a little tough to find as a tourist, managed to hunt it down through a little entry way up to the second storey.It was a real surprise that a quint English inspired restaurant takes up such a magnificent space, once you left the bar and found your way into the dining area. Love the deco and the ceiling height. Does feel really homely.Food was good, price is on the higher side, sadly, did not try the steak. =(Hope to try it again when come back to Fitzroy
