Good food but false advertising when it comes to pricing! Big “lunch combo” signs are “pre covid” (as advised by a staff member) and they charge menu prices instead … they just don’t tell you that until you’ve ordered & paid & question the price. Apparently I’m not the first customer to complain about this deceptive practice. Not sure if they’ve noticed, but it’s been a while since we all came back to the office. Won’t be coming here again which is a pity because I really want to support small business in this area, but not when they have deceptive marketing.

My partner and I absolutely loved everything about Home Vegan Bar. The food was absolutely mouthwatering, the atmosphere was super, loved the tunes and staff were really lovely. Definitely a good place to go if you're a gluten free vegan, loads of options.

Probably the best Big Vegan Breakfast I've had!First time coming to this place, and I wish I had come sooner. I grabbed the Big Breakfast, which had an incredible tofu scramble, mushrooms, tomatoes, salad, avocado, toast, facon and a massive hash brown - it was actually the perfect definition of 'big', unlike some other café offerings.The tofu scramble had a runny, egg-like texture, and the addition of chilli and pumpkin seeds worked an absolute treat!I also grabbed their homemade falafels, which were super flavoursome and not at all dry, like a lot of falafels generally can be.The cafe has a pretty extensive breakfast and lunch menu, as well as some take away items such as rolls, salads and treats.The venue could probably sit about 20-30 people, and it's location is a very short walk from Southern Cross Station.The only real downside is that it's only open Monday-Friday!!

Food was great! We had a noodle bowl and a taco bowl. The chicken in the noodle bowl was quite convincing! You will definitely come away full as the servings are quite generous.

Affordable price vegan food in town. The venue and food is wonderful. Staff are friendly. I had breakfast and lunch over 3 days when I am in town and will definitely come back.Porridge is tasty. Green bowl and cheek and teriyaki bowl are delicious too.
