Compton Dog Park
Great park, got a bit of a shock though as I walked the hilly section to discover there was no fence there and then coming down and out at the side of the park, the fence stops short exposing any meandering pooch straight onto the road. Apart from this short coming the park is still one of the best I've seen. How much safer would it be, if it were totally fenced and marked as the absolute best park in the region? 10 out of 10 if the Council can put some funding this way.Yours Appreciatively

It's not fully fenced which was a concern, but I had a long lead and my boy had a good run. The council have a bunch of plans to improve the park and also complete the fencing. Looking forward to seeing the improvements.

What a lovely dog park!! We loved the huge open spaces, the natural layout with trees and shrubs everywhere, plus the fantastic agility course that’s open to all. There’s a water station, and poo bags available, too. One of the best dog parks we’ve been to in NSW!

I thought it was fully fenced of but it isn't the dogs can run of onto the road n the lawns r always abit long n I have got ticks from the park. Apart from that I liked the training equipment

Gus thoroughly enjoyed his first visit to Compton Dog Park and the interaction with other dogs and people. He needs more work on the agility layout but showed early promise; we shall return.

Compton Dog Park
We visited this fenced off lead dog park at 2:30 Tuesday and it had about 10 other dogs, all quite social and friendly. The fence doesn’t go all the way around but is large enough not to matter for dogs with a basic recall level. It was no issue for our 10month old pup or any of the other dogs while we were there. Very nice spot for your dog to have a bit of play and social time if they are ok with other dogs :)
