Chony's Art Room

My daughter has been attending Chony's art room for almost a year and it is the highlight of her week! Chony is incredibly supportive, very encouraging and a genuinely lovely human that you feel so cared for and warm in her presence. The art that comes home is so unique, very thoughtful and always fun for the kids to create, she listens to what the children are interested in and lets that guide her progra so they are always excited about what they are getting into.... Highly recommend...

Chony is such a kind, warm, uplifting & beautiful lady, with a lovely positive & welcoming nature.She puts so much time, energy, passion & effort into her classes & is so dedicated & committed to helping and teaching everyone.Chony has so much talent, expertise & knowledge & is an incredible art teacher.I absolutely love attending her classes & can highly recommend.

Chony's Art Room has provided one to one and group art sessions for participants our organisation provides support to with their NDIS plan. Art is one of the best modalities and engages people with mental health challenges in thoughtful and person centred activities. Chony is lovely and is exceptional towards our clients at Aspire Community Solutions. I cannot recommend her enough!

Chony's children's Art School classes are always fun and fabulous! Chony has a way of allowing children to express their creativity with both learning great technique plus the freedom to experiment and discover for themselves. She offers a diverse range of experiences that the children really look forward to. Not only that, Chony is a cheerful, caring and skilled art teacher who has created a unique program for children.

Chony is so great, love her energy and lovely, supportive personality. Art classes are so fun and I feel calm and relaxed after class.

My daughter with Down Syndrome loves her weekly Art Therapy at Chony’s Art Room. It’s a great community of people who enjoy learning and creating together. I’ve been so impressed with how Emily’s skill and confidence has grown since she has been working with Chony. Would highly recommend.

We love working with Chony for kids workshops for our community events. Chony is incredibly thoughtful and organised, always taking care to incorporate all our age groups and sustainable goals. We always receive incredible feedback from all attendees and my kids love the events too!

Chony is amazing. I have been a member of the Art Therapy Group that runs each week for almost two years now, and have had 1:1 tutoring from her at various times as well.She is fun, patient, always positive and takes what she does very seriously.She is able to work out where a client is in regards to various mediums, and instinctively seems to know when they need a helping hand.I’m constantly amazed at her compassion and ability to reach out, work with, encourage and support anyone - whether it is me and my art making, or someone with severe physical disability.Chony is amazing, and one of those rare souls who actually care for the people they work with.I cannot recommend her highly enough. I love and enjoy every minute I get to spend with her.
