My partner asked for an appointment last week and asked him for his date of birth. They called him on the day of his appointment and said they can't take him on because he is too old.Why didn't they say that when he tried to make the appointment?? They should have a sign at reception telling staff what is the year that they can accept clients at because they can't do it on the spot!!

Some of the staff are great, however, others sometimes make ill-informed assumptions and talk about their personal issues too much. I understand that relating to a client is helpful, but sometimes it takes away from the session. It's great that it's a free service but there appears to be limited understanding of complex mental illnesses which can cause some staff become reductionistic. I don't think goal setting and simple self-care is a fix for everything, and it is ignorant to assume that this is what everyone needs, and what they need to hear about every single appointment.

An amazing place with amazing staff that can do a lot to help young people. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff.
