I recently organised a gathering for an adult learning class at Hahndorf's Fine Chocolates, Montrose, prior to Easter.The Hahndorf's team were more than helpful, organising a beautiful, long table for us in the sunny, open cafe, which offered a lovely atmosphere. The service was extremely friendly and efficient, both over the phone and in person!The coffee, drinks, scones and decadent selection of chocolates were delicious. Everyone loved choosing a unique complimentary chocolate with their drink; a favourite on the day being the divine 'Black Forest Truffle'.Our group also enjoyed strolling the inviting garden after our sumptuous morning tea. A most enjoyable day for all! Thank you!!

After we took mum for a nice lunch at Sky High, we need a good coffee and dessert. As we drove past Hahndorfs, we quickly did a U-turn to check it out. Having ridden past it many times on the push bike, we just had to stop. My normal drink is a Mocha but having walked into a chocolate venue I decided to change it to a hot chocolate, to my surprise, I now get 3x choices of chocolate pieces for free. An awesome surprise. Our desserts were very nice as well.

Parking can be packed at times, but you can also find a spot further down at the playground. Hahndorfs offer a great selection of amazing chocolates and drinks that are definitely worth every penny with the amount that give you.I love the fact you get to choose a small chocolate.

Chocolate shop with option to enjoy hot/cold drinks at the premise. Spacious indoor seatings and beautiful outdoor seating area.We ordered ice coffee and ice mocha. Texture of the drinks are more like thick milky smoothies rather than conventional more liquid-y ice coffee. The ice mocha is quite sweet and the coffee flavour in the ice coffee is not that pronounced.It's a bit pricey (around $17 for the 2 drinks) but we get complimentary chocolates (you can pick the flavour), so maybe not that pricey? Also they gave us the leftovers of the drinks they made that can't fit in the glass. Very generous!

A very nice cafe. With a hot drink they will give a complimentary chocolate truffle. The ambient is very nice. Outdoor seatings are so relaxing especially on a nice warm day. Highly recommended.

There is no ways you should drive past this place without stopping. In fact go out of your way to pop in. Delicious cakes and muffins, the best milkshakes and iced coffee in Melbourne, scrumptious hot chocolate for those cold wet Winter days. Add to that chocolate to die for and the friendliest and most helpful staff. I do however warn you, once won’t be enough!!!!
