We stayed in the Rainbow lorikeet. It has at least one resident rat. Rather an eventful time with two of us being woken up with its scurrying around our beds. Other than that its a wonderful place. Good for a relaxing getaway. Proove that you have fixed the rat issue and i will remove this review.

Convenient, comfortable and spacious cabin with ensuite, kichenette and breakfast cereals provided. Situated onsite to tavern, restaurant. and shop. An ideal place to enjoy a stay up on the Bunyas. Great location, excellent value.

Had an amazing stay at Magic Heights. Birds, possums, and hundreds of wallabies on your lawn, balcony and front step. And many beautiful hikes in the National Park in the rainforest. We are already planning a return trip.

We stayed there for two nights it was nice place. Lots of native animals like wallabies and birds. You can hand feed them. Love the house and the fireplace. Phone reception is a bit of issue but since you are immersed in nature data is not an issue.

Great little get away location if you need a few days to disconnect" from the world. Plenty of wildlife and a good ~8km hike trail that takes you through plenty of scenic spots with waterfalls. We stayed in the Ecos Studio (1 bed

We have been coming up to Bunyas for years, always love this place. Generally a great memorable experience. We have stayed in so many different places over the years and we thought we would come back to Magic Heights as we had not been in this house for at least 10 years.Sad to say the owners have not touched it since and is really starting to show its age. Some of the let downs1. You wouldn't even sit at the outdoor table, green mould all over it.Table in terrible condition with cheap chairs put around it.2. Recliners don't work on one side of the main lounge.3. So looking forward to the spa, nothing advertised that it's broken and can only be used as a bath.4. Went to use the bbq and it's broken, dare say it's got a gas leak as it was pouring out gas when I turned the bottle on. Be wary!5. Heaters in both bathrooms are broken6. Bedding had stains on a single bed on mattress protector7. Cleanliness has alot to be desired. Cobwebs throughout the place along the roof in rooms. Dust all over the fans.8. Roof cracking away in downstairs bedroom9. Light fixtures full of bugs10. Fire place handle does not have insulated handle and has come off. Burnt my hand opening the door not thinking.Really I could go on and on.Positives however, it is cosy and plenty of space. Great views, kitchen modern with plenty of bench space. The place just needs to be gutted, renovated and new furniture throughout.I would not recommend this place and won't be coming back, much nicer houses available. To be quite frank it was a rip off.

Beautiful place so peaceful and quiet. We stayed at the Tuggen Tuggen & Mai houses which are very nice, each house sleeps up to about 21 people. One bedroom downstairs has a double bed and single bed, upstairs has two bedrooms each with double beds and 1 set of bunk beds the third room which is open area has all bunk beds. All firewood is supplied for each of the houses and each have one toilet and shower in side and a separate section with toilets and shows. If you stay in these you can play tennis for free however booking is encouraged, there is also a pool table and table tennis located down near the tennis court. In the same area is located the dryer and washing machines that people staying in the houses are welcomed to use.

I had a good memory when I stayed one of the cabins at Bunya Mountains. It was so nice that made me come back here.On the contrary to my expectation,we got this beautiful cottage that just sprayed with chemical that kills spiders. The man was spraying all over the house and we had to wait because he didn't finish his job yet.We didn't get informed about any of this. When we complained about this to the reception ladies they didn't care. I guess we are just one of their guests who is willing to throw money at nothing and not worthy to pay attention.Even when we walked in for check in they gave us this look and vibe we were not welcomed at all. No gesture of helping guest who might be visiting here for the first time.It was very disappointing.Since then I stopped recommending people to stay at Bunya mountain.Drive 3-4 hours just to get treated like this?
