Broken promises. No delivery. Good ending.My builder and I arranged (2 weeks ago) with Warringah Timber to have Hardideck delivered today. Paid 6k worth of deck and had several promises from them delivery was on time. Then got a call today to say they out of stock and no more supplies until Jan. How can they promise us delivery, take our money and then flippantly call to say sorry NO delivery !!!I will now have a metal frame instead of a deck over the new year period. Thanks Warringah Timber !!End of the story: It seems that Hardideck were the ones to blame for this situation. They had made promises to Warringah Timbers which they did not keep. In the end (after we applied significant pressure on Hardideck) they managed to find what we needed and hopefully it should be delivered today.

We went there to look at their composite decking and were so pleased we could get the colour and width we wanted for the front verandah. We were told we would be telephoned either two days or one before delivery to advise whether morning or afternoon.This did not happen. If I had known I would have arranged parking outside my house - as it was, the driver was forced to park on the road. He advised that he would use the crane to put the package of 18 5.4m boards on the nature strip. At no stage was I advised by the company that delivery was to the nature strip only. I had expected two men who would carry the individual boards inside my front gate where they would be secure. Only when I got the docket at delivery did it say strictly to nature strip". When I complained to the company I was told by Matt that for $50 delivery fee no-one would expect to get it carried inside the gate. I would have been happy to pay more if I had known. I am very disappointed that after paying $2681.00 for their product I was treated in such an off-hand and dismissive manner. He really couldn't have cared less. And to be advised AFTER the fact that deliveries are only to the nature strip is unfair and unreasonable."

Really helpful team at Warringah Timbers. We are able to select our Decking on the back of seeing it on display at the front of yard and this made a big difference to us. Having the opportunity to physically see what the product looks like after it has been laid and been in place for some time was a good advertisement for the product and removed some of the guess work for us.Well priced, good range and helpful team. Would definitely recommend Warringah Timbers.

They have the best crew running this place. Can't beat them for quality and range of specialty timbers.
