Goodbye Good Boy

I cannot recommend Goodbye Good Boy highly enough to anyone contemplating engaging their services.From the initial contact with seeking out a quote for my 13yo sweet Olly all the way through to the final stage, Dawn and Dr Stephen Bennett gave incredible, compassionate and understanding care & service.Euthanising a beloved pet is not an easy decision to make but Dawn's care, kindness and experience made things so much easier. She is exactly the sort of person you want guiding you at such a time.Dr Stephen Bennett was equally valuable when it came time to say goodbye. His calming demeanour and kindness at such a time was so appreciated. He talked us though what he was going to do and what would happen, all the while reassuring not only me but also my cat.Thanks to Dawn & Dr Bennett I was able to give my Ol a dignified, loving & peaceful passing which I am so grateful for.I know that if I ever find myself needing such a service again I know exactly who I will be going to- Goodbye Good Boy.

Upon learning that our gorgeous boy Charlie had cancer, we had to make the awful decision to say good bye to our beloved dog, companion and family member. The vet had given me information about euthanasia at the vet clinic but knowing how much Charlie disliked going to the vet, we didn't want his final good bye to be stressful for him. I did some research and came across Goodbye Good Boy. From the first email enquiry, I felt nothing but care, respect and love. The team (Cassandra and Dawn) were amazing with their communication and their emails and phone calls were sincere and full of care and compassion during this terrible time. The good bye was beautiful. We were able to say our final goodbye in the comfort of our home and knowing that Charlie was comfortable and surrounded by us, his family, on his bed in front of the fireplace (his favourite spot) made it a lot easier. I was impressed with Dr Chad who came out and explained what would happen, from sedation to the final needle. He allowed us time to cuddle and talk to Charlie as we said our last goodbye. We opted for the full cremation package through Goodbye Good Boy and the communication from them has also been amazing. If you have to make the hard decision to say good bye to your pet, I strongly recommend Goodbye Good Boy. I miss Charlie so much and grief is overwhelming but I take comfort in knowing we did the right thing by him and Goodbye Good Boy made it a beautiful good bye.

Last night we said Goodbye to our Good Boy of 16 years - Wally.Vet Dr Melissa arrived on time and was calm and compassionate. Wally was in his basket, Dr Melissa gave Wally a sedative. We gave him his final kisses and cuddles and told him many times we loved him. When the time came Wally slipped off to sleep (the time had come). Dr Melissa wrapped him in a blanket put him in a basket and the family took him to her car. Wally will be back with us soon and we intend to scatter his ashes in the water at one of his favorite places, Red Rocks Beach on Phillip Island. I would recommend Goodbye Good Boy if you want to let your beloved pet pass peacefully and with compassion. Angela

Could not recommend highly enough. We said goodbye to our 17 year old border terrier - Floyd. At a very difficult time it was all arranged with compassion, professionalism and a minimum of fuss. Saying goodbye at home in Floyd's familiar environment was so much better than a clinical vet premises. There was lots of communication in all steps along the way and assistance in navigating what needed to be done. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

We recently used Goodbye Good Boy to do an at home euthanasia of our 12 year old staffy. Their service was fantastic and the staff are very compassionate during such a difficult time. The vet Dr Chad was incredible very professional and respectful. We ended up needed a same day booking and they accommodated us without any issues. So glad we chose this company they made an incredibly hard day easier. Very thankful for them and the service they provided.

We engaged Goodbye Good Boy to help us with our elderly cat’s end of life planning. The vet who came to our home was so gentle, kind, and empathetic. She explained the process clearly and checked in with me at each phase. The process was sad but also incredibly peaceful and comfortable for our beloved kitty. It was a great comfort to have their help at such a stressful time.

Thank you GGB for making Casper's final days a complete and stress free experience. i cannot thank you enough for organizing everything from start to end. From the at home visit by the Vet to the return of Casper's ashes. Your service is indispensable in Casper's final days. the Urn/paw print/lock of hair from Bamganie (crematorium) was meticulously prepared and packaged. It was hand delivered with care and i was updated on the process through out the experience. I can not express how happy we are with everything. Thank you once again.

I cannot begin to explain how grateful for the beautiful service that Goodbye Good dog provided us! This was undoubtedly one of the toughest decisions we have ever made. Our pain and heart ache were eased right from the first phone call until the very end and beyond. Melissa the vet who assisted us was basically an angel sent to us at a time of great despair. The process of saying goodbye to Rosie was seamless and comfort was given every step of the way. Never at any stage did we regret this decision, in fact we think it this the only kind way to say goodbye to your beloved pet!Yes, it is hard moving forward now but their provision of beautiful memorabilia of Rosie will allow her to be with us forever!
