Puffing Billy Railway station is next to Menzies Creek railway museum. Step back in time to yesteryear and imagine how it was. Really worth a look if you are interested in the age of steam.Check the Puffing Billy website for opening times, and train timetable.

The main information centre looks great, but we couldn't go in as they had a function on.The cafe down the hill is pretty basic but the staff did their best.Other facilities/things to do are minimal. Its a pretty spot though.

Enjoyable experience. This is a must go if you are at Victoria. The view is nice from the train but it is the experience of being in a steam train that defeats all scenery you can see. The smell of steam and the sound of the whistle. Makes you think that you’ve travelled back in time but you still have your cameras to capture moments.My first time on a steam train and I’ve enjoyed myself. It’s even more amazing that they’ve got passionate volunteers as well.
