After deciding that I was finally ready to start learning to drive at the age of 29, I researched a driving school and came across Michael. I was extra nervous about this decision as I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety and ADHD from an early age and it was a struggle getting the confidence to drive.Michael was very accomodating and understanding of these issues. Over the last 7 months I had weekly lessons with Michael where he was patient, informative and kind.During our lessons he took me on the exact routes they may take you on in the test which allowed me to be confident and prepared in the area I was taken to.His various tips and tricks to gain the skills to reverse drive, parallel park, merge safely and understand how the roads work all helped me to pass my driving test on the first go!He is truly a fantastic teacher and I cannot recommend him enough. He never doubted my ability to improve or get better and the confidence he had in me pushed me to go further. Thank you so much Michael!

Michael has been such a fantastic driving instructor throughout my time as a learner driver. From teaching me the basics of gear changing to learning how to parallel park, this driving school has provided me with the knowledge and experience I need to be safe on the roads as a new p-plater. 10/10 would recommend to any learner

Almost 5 months ago my life changed dramatically. I suffered a stroke which affected my right side. When asked by the doctors and therapist to name my first goal, it was to drive again. Driving gave me independence, work and social life. Through a lot of dedicated work and the help of my OT and Michael, my Driving instructor, I have achieved that goal. As my right hand is still a bit weak, Michael explained how I needed to use my left hand to turn and feed" the wheel while supporting it with my right. This quickly became natural as I am an ocean racing sailor

My 18year old son Luke has a rare degenerative condition which has seen him transition into the use of a wheelchair full time over the past 12months. Luke's primary goal since getting his Learner's in 2021 was to obtain his Provisional Licence to give him independence and the ability to focus on his love for cars and driving. Michael assisted Luke with introducing him to the use of Hand controls, teaching, guiding and nurturing him to the stage where he was ready to attempt his Provisional License Test. Luke passed the test with flying colours on his very first attempt. We will be forever thankful for Michael's patience, understanding, compassion, encouragement and professionalism. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
