RSEA Safety Newcastle

Today I called to follow up on an order of 30x work shirts that were supposed to be ready in two weeks with logos for our business. It has now been three weeks and no communication. I called to follow up and was told it would be another week. I expressed my concern for poor communication, and if I knew it would take 4 weeks I would have used another local business. I understand delays with suppliers etc, but it isn't hard to communicate to the customer if there is a delay. I was told that, we don't normally do that because we have thousands of customers". The customer service lady was patronising and when I expressed how I would not use RSEA Safety in the future

RSEA at Lambton has a good range of stock and work boots but that’s sadly where it ends. I purchased a pair of Steel Blue boots that failed after five months. I returned to the store with the receipt from when I purchased it.The lady that served me gave all the excuses in the world as to why I may not be able to receive a refund/replacement for the boots despite being within the 6 months warranty. She eventually agreed to contact steel blue about my boots but told me that the store would have to keep the boots for a full week while they waited for a response from steel blue. I agreed because I had no other option and in that time waiting I went and purchased a pair of boots at another store as I need work boots to go to work.This isn’t good enough, 7 days without work boots because an email needs to be sent away is not acceptable especially when you require them for an income. In the end after a week I received a refund but this whole mess and dissatisfaction could’ve been avoided with some common sense.I suggest to management to create a new system regarding product issues/faults otherwise you will lose more customers such as myself. I’m also confident that this method of dealing with returns is against consumer law as well.Everyone should be aware that if they have an issue with their boots and presumably other products sold at this location, RSEA will take them from you and if you need them for work, tough luck.

Walked in and felt so welcomed. All the staff were amazing and very friendly. Great customer service as I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. I could not fault the staff at this shop I walked out a very satisfied customer. I even walked past a warehouse staff member upon returning to my car and he was just as friendly asking me how my day was. Excellent 5 stars and I shall most definitely be back again. My son needed his first pair of work boots and gloves to start his bricklaying apprenticeship. I found RSEA on google and found a good range of products etc . We visited the Griffiths road Lambton outlet. We spent approximately $150 on your products. We were happy with the range offered in store. The customer service was non existent the 2 young guys working there only paid attention to a young female customer who was not in there to purchase anything for herself as she was with her brother who was also looking for his first pair of work boots. He was also ignored as were several other customers who were also in the store. I will be looking elsewhere next time as I do expect customer service in any shop I’m visiting.

Very helpfull and frienldy store lady Saturday shopping. Makes my shopping easy and fast!
