Well worth the trip. The actual kiln and caretakers cottage are amazing. Beautiful surroundings.

at first i have no idea what is Kiln, till my partner explained that to me. it’s a place where they use for baking the tiles. they seem like not been in use for a very long time, probably they are not using it anymore. anyway, it’s good to see something different, isnt?went for a short walk in the Creek, pretty narrow, but you may follow the tiny river to explore a little.

Nice quiet spot to take the dog! Lots of different tracks but most seem to be dirt roads or fire roads. Haven't explored all the tracks tho

Great place to camp for free. There's toilets and BBQ but no power. There's plenty of walking tracks, perfect getaway when you on a budget.

A very pleasant and historically significant location, with picturesque surrounding forest and walking tracks. The kiln's history is well elaborated on the signage. It has a picnic area and a babbling brook. I 'kurthed' myself for not visiting this place years ago :)

Lovely piece of well preserved history thanks to some committed locals. Easy walking trails but beautiful. Information boards along the trails.

Great camping spot not too far from Melbourne, ample camping spaces, public toilets and fire pits with large BBQ plates but bring a saw and stop on the way in to collect firewood...none around camp sites as its been cleaned out by others
