Tipple Alcohol Delivery

I've ordered from 7/11 a few times using Tipple. Their customer service is terrible, their drivers always have problems taking my ID, when there are items missing there's no way to report that and get the cost refunded - and there is ALWAYS something missing.The last straw was when I got a call from a DoorDash driver who was supposed to pick up my order (??) saying that they cannot collect it because the order is on hold and I need to do something on the site to release it. There was no option on the 7/11 tipple site to do ANYTHING - it just showed that my order was being prepared. The money has already been taken from my account. Their live chat was offline. After over an hour waiting to talk to customer support, they said it was because an item was out of stock. So instead of refunding me for that item and fulfilling the order, they cancelled it and said I would get receive a refund in 2-4 business days.If you have ANY option that is not Tipple, I suggest you use that instead. If anything goes wrong they leave you with no way to contact them and they will just keep your money.

Ordered 8 bags of ice to be delivered ahead of time. Driver went AWOL then didn’t turn up despite me waiting on road for 1 hour prior.Customer service said “sorry for inconvenience. It was a failed delivery” WILL NOT USE EVER AGAIN!

Inaccurate or no products descriptions (even on products they’ve been selling for years). Lengthy delays. No process for storing proof-of-age details. Don’t list weights or volumes on products. There’s no snacks category even though they sell snacks (losing money there). Use off-shore call centres…

Received an order and due to their apps technical problem " I had to give the order back. No explanation

If I can give 0 stars I would have. I placed an online order from 7 eleven today to receive more then half of my order missing with no explanation, not sure if the store didn't have the items that are missing or the delivery driver just took the items. Anyways I had to contact a third party company called tipple they are in charge of online orders and delivery. After wasting 30 minutes chatting to tipple as that's the only way to contact them I asked to have the missing items sent instead of a refund but I was told they can't send the missing items they can only give me refund and it would take 3 business days to have it processed.

This shell of a company let me down badly. Three days ago I placed a delivery order of an expensive bottle of champagne to be delivered on a friend's special birthday. At the close of the day in question, I was sent an email to say that no delivery was possible.Their promises were false, and their advertising (instant delivery, etc) fraudulent.David Cruse

Don't bother with this service, they cant communicate properly, I was charged from my paypal even though it told me it didnt work, then when i used another account they needed verification of my card but don't tell me how to do it, I had to figure it out on my own because the BOT they use is glitching. 50 min later after talking to customer service i find out that it is now after their delivery service cut off time and I get a message that due to unforseen circumstances the delivery cant be made.All i wanted was to get a drink after work without having to go back out

Absolutely incompetent on every possible level. From the long waiting times for delivery to items being unavailable when order already made it’s an absolute waste of time. Add to that the lack of support when something goes wrong you’re better off walking to to your local to purchase your product…

Don’t use this app!!!! There are plenty of other delivery options out there, I only signed up as I got locked out of my Jimmy Brings account - who would always deliver in 35 mins tops. First time with this joke of a company and the order took over 3 hours. Back to Jimmy we go! Please don’t waste your time.

Thanks Tipple!! You advertise all your products available, let my purchase them, then message me to tell me you don't have them. Then here's the kicker... I cant get a refund from you for up to 5 days. Crazy right?? You sell me something you don't have, then I have to wear it for 3 - 5 days until you get around to sorting it. Well done!! That's the kick in in guts you need at the end of the week. App deletion coming up.
