A multi purpose outdoor sports complex that has a canteen and changerooms. Decent caged full field hockey and soccer pitches with seated benches for both teams. The Waratahs centre of excellence is also here but in multiple visits I've never seen them actually train on what it a very good grass rugby field. The lack of visible training effort is probably why they keep losing. With the giant Waratahs sign, they are definately noticeable by their absence. It has several hard court tennis courts, one full size synthetic turf hockey field, synthetiv turf soccer field and multiple grass fields for other football codes, cricket and of course a well kept grass field for the NSW Waratahs. Fields are well supported by flood lights, and players have access to clean and modern change and toilet facilities. The field is also the home for UNSW sports.Importantly, has first aid points with an AED present and also a call for help button.Access wise, vehicle travel is the best, however parking can be challenging at peak times (including during school timings with the local public school close by). Closest Bus routes and Light Rail incur a significant walk.Sporting fields aside, there is a basic menu list cafe, (EFPOS is min $5 purchase) and surround open glass view to the fields. Prices are quite reasonable with a generous serving for things like the bacon and egg roll ($7).

The field is great but the cafe owner was extremely rude and kicked us out before we had the chance to order all because we entered with a water bottle. Tried to apologise but she was so angry and determined to get us out of her cafe we didn’t even have the chance to order. Very disappointed

Good synthetic pitch, plenty of parking nearby and a great kids playground across the road

Not until recently I have come to appreciate this sport field. It has one full size turf field hockey field, turf soccer field and multiple grass fields for other football codes and of course a well kept grass field for the NSW Blues. Fields are well supported by flood lights, and players have access to clean and modern change and toilet facilities. The field is also the home for UNSW sports.Sporting fields aside, there is a basic menu list cafe, (EFPOS is min $5 purchase - a little antiquated in 2021) and surround open glass view to the fields.Access wise, vehicle travel is the best. Closest bus is 392 on stopping on Bunnerong Road and then cross Rolland Park. Alternatively, any bus or the newly completed light rail (a rail to no where really) to the Nine Ways at Kingsford and take a 30min walk to the field.I love this field because it’s the home ground for my daughters field hockey club, UNSW Whaliees!

First time I've been since it was redeveloped. Facilities are good. Sadly they have made the short-sighted decision to kick cricket out and replace with rugby - who were noticeable by their absence today.

The synthetic soccer field is the oldest, dirtiest, most polluting field in Sydney. The rubber crumb is spread all over the surrounding fields which means the field is not meeting standards.Loss of crumb means the ground is harder than normal and this leads to concussions risks. The rubber crumb is full of toxic carcinogenic materials and is due to be banned by the ECHA, the European Chemical Agency. Why we need these hot toxic fields in sunny Australia, is because of unethical marketing by synthetic turf manufacturers. Grass is the safest option for all players and the enviroment.Have seen American Football played on here as well as kids soccer.

The canteen/cafe owner is very rude, not a welcoming place. The synthetic soccer field is not a full sized soccer field and there was lots of litter strewn everywhere.
