If you get there early enough, it is a quiet club with a few nice long fairways and several challenging greens. Depending on how your game is, the race track can get in the way, but make sure you follow the local rules in relation to obstructions

Randall the staff on the pro shop is a helpful and nice. 5 stars hospitality.Online booking was very easy, the price is very worth it.a unique country course, with a racehorse in the middle of the field. Fairways considerable great during winter, green is well maintained.Met a lots of good local players.Highly recommended to play.Thank you Randall for the hospitality

Open Letter to Drouin Golf and Country Club, Board of Directors and the local community of Drouin VIC 3818I hope this letter reaches you all amidst a spirit of understanding and fairness. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the redundancy of the Food and Beverage Manager at the Drouin Golf and Country Club this week – Tuesday 13th June 2023. The circumstances surrounding this termination and the subsequent events will have a lastly effect on the trust and integrity of the Drouin Golf Club.The employee has consistently demonstrated dedication, hard work, and a genuine commitment to his role at the club over the last 6 months, exhibiting a strong sense of responsibility and proactively taking measures to enhance the food and beverage offerings while implementing many health and safety measures to ensure compliance to regulation and code. The employee's contributions during this time has significantly contributed to the business results, from additional function bookings and events to compliance of regulations; these contribution examples only exemplify the employees dedication and willingness to go above and beyond to foster the growth and success of the club. The way the employee was informed of his redundancy this week can only be described as distressing. He was given a job description for the role of General Manager on the Saturday 10thJune while at work on his shift after being informed the current GM in this role had resigned the day before (Friday 9th June) and they had departed the club effectively immediately. The employee was advised to prepare for the GM role with the understanding he was to be promoted to General Manager at the Board Meeting the following week. As you can imagine this news was met with enthusiasm and commitment, and they spent their weekend preparing for the responsibilities and challenges that lay ahead as well as preparing a presentation for the Board meeting and reworking the roster and team availability to accommodate the changes.Sadly however, upon returning to work on the Tuesday, they were shocked to learn that it was he that was now to be made redundant, as the previous General Manager, who had resigned, was offered the opportunity to return and manage both roles. This sudden change of events not only undermines the employee's hard work and dedication but also raises concerns about the fairness and transparency of decision-making within the Drouin Golf Club.This employee and his young family now find themselves in a difficult financial situation due to the sudden loss of income. The impact of this unjust redundancy extends beyond the professional realm, affecting them on a personal level as well as the psychological toll inflicted by the betrayal of trust and the erosion of their faith in the club, and the board has left them devastated.How anyone can think this is fair and just is beyond me. I truly hope the Board members of the Drouin Golf Club make swift resolution that rights the wrongs committed.

Great venue, friendly and helpful staff

I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of both fairways and greens here. A reasonably open and flat course but a pleasure to play.The 19th was pretty good as well.

Excellent place to have a party, the grazing table was great and the services were outstanding thanks.

Delivering Groceries to there,met with friendly and helpful staff...Pro-shop looks to be well stocked with a variety of items for sale..Coffee was quite okay as well...

I was surprised having played here many years ago and was not overly impressed, but now the course was in good condition with excellent grass on the fairways and great true running greens. Not excessively fast or slow. The only thing to improve would be better signage on the course as a couple of tees and holes can be confusing and it is easy to play the wrong hole. 11 and 16 tees and 10 can be just hard to find with a not great to assist. Otherwise I would recommend giving this course a try.

Thank you to Drouin Golf Club for allowing the Census Field officers and manager to have our final catch up with coffees and lunch overlooking the beautiful golf course. The staff were very helpful and served a delicious lunch
