Mikes Home Cleaning

Well they were booked in to clean for me yesterday, booked through a living social voucher. They didn't come and are not answering their phones. Hugely disappointing!

My dealing with Mikes Home Cleaning was a dismal disgrace. Yes I booked using a Living Social voucher and yes they over booked. The worker I dealt with first claimed a system error, later that his colleague's father had a stroke. They did not honor the agreed appointment time and wasted mine and a family members time, waiting on standby and preparing for the service to be undertaken. Totally unreliable I would strongly discourage anyone from booking with Mikes.

I don't normally write reviews but I have bothered to take the time because the service from Mike's Home Cleaning was genuinely terrible. It started off with the request for additional money to conduct services that would be included in their package. Note that this request was for the payment to be in cash only. The 'cleaner' who looked like a teenager was almost 20 minutes late, and I am almost certain that he probably spent about 15 minutes cleaning of the 2 hours we paid for. If anything I could have done a better job myself in the same amount of time. He didnt even bother to vacuum. Do yourself a favour and do not go with this service.

Same as all the above. Tried to book him for last Friday, said it would have to be Monday at 11am.... it's now 2.30 pm, he's not answering either mobile number, texts or email...I've since had contact with Mike, who claimed he sold the business to Jason. Cutting long and quite funny story short, we caught them out on all their lies. Apparently Jason is 27, forwards all his calls to Mike... and is Mikes flatmate!These guys are liars and cheats and will say anything in order to cheat you.In a way I feel sorry for Mike, he sounds a very simple fellow. However I can't stand liars and obviously dont like getting ripped off so we will wait and see if livingsocial will refund.

Absolutely shocking service. We had someone come out to our place after buying a living social voucher and they did not clean our place. Even basic things like cleaning the sink or the bath basin was not done. Im actually not sure what was done at all. Very very disappointed and would never recommend this company to anyone. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee on their website and they dont even honour it. Shocking.
