Just Cuts

I’ve been to Just Cuts Aitkenvale several times, and each time I’ve been disappointed. The most recent trip there was the last straw for me, the hairdresser didn’t ask me any questions, didn’t ask how I style my hair normally, didn’t ask how I wanted it thinned, and the ends were cut so blunt that it looks like I’ve done it myself with kitchen scissors. And the fact that they didn’t tell me until AFTER my cut that blow drying would be $7 extra, even though my head is 75% buzz cut, is just stupid. I won’t be going to Just Cuts again.EDIT: it’s been 2 weeks since I’ve been to Just Cuts and I’ve shaved my hair at home myself, and have discovered ringworm under my hair!! Totally disgusted and will be complaining to the store directly.

Yesterday I went to Stocklands because the day before I had been given a terrible haircut at another just cuts. I was looked after by Anita who was very professional and showed excellent customer service. She re cut my hair and took great care, she couldn't obviously put back the areas where it had been cut far too short but I am happy with the result now.Thank you Anita very muchJill

My husband and I went here today. Asked Lady at front for me to have a haircut and husband to have haircut and beard trim. Was told was 1 hour wait. Did other shopping and returned. Lady, who I believe was the manager, cut my hair, mine was fine. Then didn't have my husband booked in. I stated I had booked both of us in. She then shaved his head and trimmed beard as requested. Then used clippers to to do a close shave under beard. This close shave has now resulted with painful red rashes all over his neck. Then to top it off charged exact same price ($37) for my haircut (layering and inches cut off) and his buzzcut (maybe 2cm of hair). Not at all happy with the service, price of his haircut ($37 to shave off hair that took 2 minutes) and resulting pain and rash he now has.

Last Saturday I was a walk in for blow dry, trim, and straighten- I washed my hair at home before arriving.The hairdresser got sick of blow drying as my hair is thick, however her technique was all wrong. She didn’t section my hair, nor use a brush like any other hairdresser would.She proceeded to straighten my hair while it was still wet.As we neared the end, with my singed hair.. a lady took over to finish me off as my hairdresser moved onto the next client. The lady, perhaps the manager brushed it through noticing the cut wasn’t straight and brought the woman back to fix it. The manager could see that my hair should have been straightened again as it was so fluffy, she fixed up some parts, however took me over to the desk and charge me $90.Disappointing because I’m a full time student with minimal income, and had to re-straighten my hair as soon as I got home as I had an event.It’s a pity because the girls were very nice.

Heard barbers laughing at group and making quite rude and racist remark overall tho got a nice mullet to take show my wife cant wait for the boys to see cheers just cuts

Absolutely terrible service. I walked in this afternoon wanting a simple trim. I asked the two ladies standing around with no customers if they were still open and they said no i think we’re closing in a minute. Fair enough I’ll come back, I had no problem with that. Until, I walk back past half and hour later then another hour again and they were still open. The two ladies working were just sitting down on their phones both times I walked past. Very disappointing service again!

A few weeks late but on May 3rd (my birthday) I decided to pop into Just Cuts to see if I could get a quick blow dry. I asked about availability and the lady at the reception told me I’d be looking to be $130. I asked her how every other time I’ve gone to a Just Cuts (which probably totals 4-5 times just this year) they have always charged me $70. She told me well that’s changed and now it’s $130 for my length of hair. My hair hasn’t grown since last blowdrys at SAME salon but magically now I need to pay almost double for a simple blowdry? Receptionist (blonde lady) simple and coldly responds “yes, that’s right: this is the price now”…. As it was my BIRTHDAY I just paid the money, had the blowdry which was AVERAGE to say the least. Left with a super bitter taste in my mouth and it’s safe to say, I will never support another Just Cuts again after this poor treatment. I am also just trying to fathom paying $130 for a blowdry. I have never ever paid this insane price for a blowdry anywhere. Not even at super fancy salons on Gold Coast and in Byron Bay when my hair was a bit longer even. I felt this lady was charging me this price just because she felt like it and it hasn’t gone unnoticed - hence why I’m writing this review. It’s deserved.

Called into Just Cuts for a quick haircut. (Last minute)It was great not getting talked into having my hair washed, coloured, treatment or to buy shampoo ect.I only waited 15 minutes.Salon was busy all the time while in there.Happy with my haircut!

My youngest tall son always likes going as the ladies are friendly & perform a great aircut.
